No "Morning After Pill" for the idiots who voted for HUSSEIN Obama.

When a politician has no executive experience, and suddenly finds himself in the hottest hellhole CEO job in the world, he is treading water from day one.
What to do? For starters, hire 32 czars to do your job for you.
Even Barack Obama himself admitted in his "Audacity" book that lawyers aren't good at solving problems, that they're trained to win arguments, not formulate policy or find workable solutions. He also denounced political operatives in print, summarizing that too many lawyers and too many political operatives were the very source of the mountainous un-workability of our federal government.
Then, why oh why, is his whole administration a flailing mix of lawyers and political operatives?
...
The Alinskyite's Big, Fat Governance Failure
August 19, 2009
What happens when the thing a president knows best is a set of tactics designed to take power from the "haves"? When the most highly prized info a president ever garnered could be summed up as nothing better than gaming an electoral system with ACORN pay-for-registration schemes?
What happens when a president is very skilled in deceptively cloaking these less-than-altruistic means in rhetorical "moral garments" and his lies finally start catching up with him, destroying his credibility? When a president has never actually run anything successfully, not even his own paper route or a PTA meeting or a small town's city council?
What happens when power-grab tactics, taught by a rabble-rousing revolutionary, suddenly catapult a charismatic demagogue into the highest power-perch in the world?
Well, then, Barack Obama's big, fat governance failure happens.
Here we are, on the worst morning-after any romance writer could conjure, facing a future in the harsh light of day, and beginning to know that all the lovely sweet nothings, murmured in our ears the night before, were just the stuff of fanciful fairytales.
Even stupid-is-as-stupid-does Bill Maher has pleaded with his president to stop the campaign and do the job already.
Even Helen Thomas has seen through the wall of false transparency, the sweetest nothing of all in the One's glittery basket of campaign promises.
Even Camille Paglia is aghast at the healthcare debacle and wants all the underlings fired.
Tsk. Tsk. Even the millions of faithful celebrity Tweeters have gone back to play-acting and Facebookers have found a better face over which to swoon.
The sad and sorry fact is that anyone with even half a brain and a single ounce of common sense would have -- and should have -- seen this big, fat governance failure the day before, without having to wait until the sickening morning after.
I shall forever remember 2008 as the year when the ninnification of America reached its peak.
It's as though 59 million Americans joined hands and shouted at the top of their little lungs, "Yes, We Can March off This Cliff."
It's every mother's adolescent-groupthink nightmare.
Now that the cult-of-personality demagogue is indeed our elected President, even his own faithful Alinskyite minions can no longer be summoned to clamorous action. As the New York Times reported last week, folks who fell right into bed - with amorous passion aplenty -- the night before, swooped up in the hopey, dopey, changey campaign, have now gone back to their real lives of making a living, raising their kids and trying to survive the utterly-failed Crimulus Stimulus and the still-lingering recession.
Morning-after reality has set in faster than a popsicle melts in the August sun.
So, what actually has gone wrong here?
Here's the scoop for anyone who's been living under the rock of mainstream media's propaganda lock. Barack Obama used the power tactics from Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, which he honed in Chicago, to play this Country's voters for fools.
Alinsky's power tactics are all about gaining power and have absolutely nothing to offer in the way of practical solutions for effective American governance. Even Alinsky alerted his acolytes to this glaring hole in the revolutionary garment he was devising. Devising solutions was supposed to be the other half of the equation, a part that has not only been written by scads of socialists for the past century. But the big problem is that these programs have been tried again and again, with the same devastating results every single time.
The only tactic left to a power broker with no clue is to try as hard as he can to revive the dead horse of socialism and parade it around the ring like a horror-filled remake of Weekend at Bernie's.
So, when a politician jumps the gun and sprints for the presidential power-perch without first thinking through the country's problems and trying to come up with some actual new things to try, he is sunk in a mudhole of his own making long before Inaugural Day. When a politician has no executive experience, and suddenly finds himself in the hottest hellhole CEO job in the world, he is treading water from day one.
What to do? For starters, hire 32 czars to do your job for you.
The Constitution be damned! Bring me my czars!
What to do about all the promises made? Turn everything over to the haggard old, tax-and-spend liberals in Congress and their power-pimping lobbyists.
Of course, none of this should come as a surprise.
We had the president's own shadowy record, with far more deletions than "allowable" information, which should have raised the skeptical antennae of anyone with half an ounce of common sense. What is the single reason why anyone assumed and portrayed as brilliant-beyond-brilliant hides his own scholarship and grade transcripts? If these records were demonstrably brilliant, they would be on prominent display.
You betcha!
In the end, we have one big -- possibly horrendous -- instance of the president's own self-fulfilled prophecy:
"We all know how high-flying words can be deployed in the service of cynical aims, and how the noblest of sentiments can be subverted in the name of power, expedience, greed or intolerance." - Audacity of Hope; Barack Obama; p. 8
What we have here is a president who knew well how to gain power, but hasn't a clue how to make that power work for the good he said it would. A president who, for the sake of expedience, attempts to ram unread legislation down the throats of the American public without proper debate. A president, whose greed for power was far more important a priority than taking the time to gain the actual experience good governance requires. And a president woefully intolerant of those who disagree with him on matters of policy.
Candidate Obama gave us some "high-flying words," all right.
But President Obama has given us nothing more substantive than power, expedience, greed and intolerance.
A very bad bargain indeed.

Meeting Geert Wilders in Manhattan

GEERT AND AYAAN HIRSI ALI
...
jillosophy was fortunate enough to be invited to attend this intimate gathering.
Here are posts from other bloggers and infidels who were also in attendance.

If you haven't seen Fitna, "the Movie" - by Dutch MP Geert Wilders, you can see it here.
Be sure and watch the entire movie in order that you be trully informed on the dangers threatening our freedom of speech.

AND GEERT WAS ON GLENN BECK:
Geert Wilders Faces Jail Time for His Stance on Islam
**
From Lawrence Auster of http://amnation.com/vfr/
I saw Geert Wilders speak again this evening to a gathering of about 25 people in an East Side Manhattan apartment.
I can’t imagine what it’s like living one’s whole life surrounded by a security detail, as Wilders has done since 2004. Yet, while he indicated he doesn’t like living this way, as well as not liking being under indictment for the crime of hate speech which could put him in jail for two years, it doesn’t seem to faze him. As he had in his speech at the Four Seasons Restaurant on Monday, he struck me as a calm, sincere, genuine person, not at all puffed up with himself as many politicians are. Part of the strangeness of the Wilders phenomenon is that he is the farthest thing from a demagogue or stirrer up of emotions—let alone a stirrer up of hatred—that one could imagine. He speaks about the Islam threat in simple, direct language, without dramatization beyond the factual truth of his message, in an almost regretful tone of, “Here is something that exists, it is rapidly gaining power, and if we don’t do something about it, and soon, everything we have, our freedom, our civilization, is going to be lost.” And yet, because he speaks the truth about Islam, the world sees him as … well, you can check out the despicable Newsweek article about him to see the usual adjectives.
Also, I want to repeat my admiration for Fitna, which was shown again at the gathering, on a wide TV screen. It’s hard to think of how a 17 minute movie about the Islam threat could possibly have been better than this. The selection of material, the way the film weaves together the words of the Koran with the spoken words of contemporary Islamic leaders and with footage of acts of Islamic violence, all add up to a clear, moving portrayal of Islam’s own expression of itself. The movie is not about Wilders. It’s not about Wilders’s “hate” of Islam. It’s about the truth of Islam. But, as I always say, under liberalism, the worse the truth about some minority or non-Western group, the more racist we are for speaking it. Meaning, the worse the truth about some minority or non-Western group, the more the truth about that group is prohibited.
When the movie ended, Canadian businessman Bjorn Larsen, who had introduced Wilders to the group and was serving as MC, said, “For this, two years in jail.” MORE…

The meaning of Wilders’s reply to me (Lawrence Auster, View From The Right)
A reader informs us that fifty-five minutes of Geert Wilders’s talk at a Manhattan apartment Tuesday night is on You Tube, and that my comment begins at 35:46 of the video. I haven’t seen it yet, but my exchange with Wilders is worth commenting on, because his reply helps us understand a key difference between Europe and America vis a vis the problem of Islamization. Tuesday evening, February 24, The Silent Majority (TSM) was honored to attended a small, private gathering in Manhattan at which Geert Wilders screened ‘Fitna’.

This inspiring and intimate evening with Geert Wilders was hosted by the chapter head of the newly formed Manhattan branch of ACTforamerica.org. The Silent Majority was invited along with many others amongst whom were members of The United American Committee, Stop The Madrassa and Gathering of Eagles.
...

Lars Hedgaard, the president of the IFPS

...

Geert was accompanied by Barry Madliner, who is also a member of the Dutch Parliament and Bjorn Larsen, Geert’s contact person and coordinator, as well as the treasurer of the International Free Press Society, http://www.internationalfreepresssociety.org//.

There is a great article to be found at IFPS explaining the economic links between Communism and Islamic infiltration http://www.internationalfreepresssociety.org/2009/02/once-again-its-the-economy-stupid/. It was written by Lars Hedgaard, the president of the IFPS and another one of the distinguished visitors at this meeting.

Following the showing of Fitna was a short speech by Geert and then a Q & A. Since it’s dinner time, our hostess provided a buffet meal for us , Geert and his associates, who graciously socialized with us all . Geert spoke of the growing threat of Islamisim to the Western world and even though accompanied by 6 or 7 bodyguards, or possibly because he was, Geert was calm but firmly clear as he stressed that NOW is the time for those of us in the US to go on the offensive. We must EDUCATE ! Ignorance is what has allowed the Islamists to swarm across Europe. The US is now staring at a similar fate . A video of the entire event is posted below ( as well as a link to more pictures) that includes Geert’s presentation and the Q and A.
(interior light in video improves at about 2:53 )

To see more pictures go here>>

Geert Wilders created the counter-jihad movie Fitna taking on Europe’s appeasement of Islamic infiltration, as well as confronting jihad itself. He is an amazing man and a role- model for us all. Geert is carrying an enormous burden as he fights for his and our freedom- of speech, helping to decide the fate of the free world for yourself and your grandchildren: The New Churchill.

We must NOT be Silent!!

Stupid is as stupid does: part 2

After meditating on the possible motivations/justifications/excuses (and I do think there were more than one) for this "prank" I feel confident and very settled with this conclusion:
THEY WANT TO POINT OUT TO NEW YORKERS (and the whole country) THAT IT'S TIME TO GET OVER 9/11. THEY SAY: SEE? YOU'RE ALL SO PARANOID. YOU THINK EVERY PLANE IS A TERRORIST WEAPON. YOU THINK EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET YOU. THERE WAS NO REASON TO GET UPSET, AND EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE IF YOU ALL WOULD JUST REALIZE THAT AND GET OVER IT.
No matter what investigations (which will never happen) they conduct, or how many psudo-apologies are publicly made - already in the backs of people's minds is that thought. American's are paranoid. We are our own worst enemy. Look what we're doing to ourselves. It's time to move on and stop overreacting.
Just another well-orchestrated crisis of distraction (like the Mexican Flu) that shall not go to waste... or a maybe it was just a test.
...
see what Mujrim said at:
For those who have not read Obomuslim's 'bible' the Alinsky Socialism Plan calls for creating MASS HYSTERIA and confusion in a society which precedes ultimate chaos. Following this is submission or imprisonment of masses:
INTENTIONAL SCARE TACTIC OF NYC FLYOVER
Today, a 747 jet flew LOW over New York City and SCARED thousands of people in New York and New Jersey. The "cover story" is that the big plane was on a photo op flight to enable a photo of the plane with the background of the Statue of Liberty. The FAA told local police departments in NYC and New Jersey that the low fly over, reminding people of the 9-11 attacks, was "confidential". Why would such an obviously terrifying action be kept secret from the public?
The true reason for this flyover was an attempt to start turning up the anxiety level of people in New York! An Illuminati General at the Pentagon ordered this LOW flyover to be staged to begin a campaign of fear in an effort to scare people in New York. This is part of a
PSY-OP by the Illuminati to begin turning up the heat on New Yorkers to make them anxious and fearful. The PSY-OP plan has several actions which are all designed to increase the anxiety level of people in New York.
The plan is to cause so much anxiety in people who work and live in New York so that when a triggering action can be caused, people in New York will run out in the streets in mobs and riot.
Then the PSY-OP plan calls for Martial Law to be declared in NYC and the financial district would be shut down. All of this is intended to cause a further and severe financial meltdown as part of the Illuminati plot to destroy the USA.

Finally!

‘Occupy Hollywood’ – The Left Begins to Eat Itself

bighollywood.breitbart.com
Kurt Schlichter

You’re not a conservative if Kim Kardashian making millions for being a half-witted, no-talent reality TV star bothers you. In fact, if you feel “there oughta be a law” somehow regulating, limiting or otherwise controlling in any manner at all how much dough she rakes in from the drooling morons who choose to fling it at her, you are part of the problem.
This woman took very, very little in the way of ability and somehow provided a service – of a kind that frankly baffles me – that millions of people nevertheless want to spend their money on. Regardless, it’s none of your or my business, and it’s especially none of the government’s business.
But now, here comes “Occupy Hollywood,” a hilarious exercise in poetic justice in which the left proposes to chase its own tail by attacking the same cretinous celebrities who have been the first to parrot every commie slogan the bongo-playing degenerates of Occupy Wall Street have misspelled on their placards.
Jo Piazza, the author of some remainder bin perennial titled Celebrity, Inc.: How Famous People Make Money, is leading the bite-the-hand-that-feeds-you-athon with an article in The Huffington Post called “Occupy Hollywood: Why It’s Time To Call Out High-Earning Celebrities.”
For some reason, she thinks what movie stars make is some sort of problem:
Yet, the middle class continues to prop up the .01 percent: Hollywood celebrities who make millions just for being themselves. When it comes to making money, celebrities are abnormal. Their enormous salaries make them outliers in the American economy, on a pay grade above most CEOs, surgeons and lawyers — the professions that typically come to mind when we think of the wealthy.
Well, it sure is a problem, like global warming is a problem — that is, it isn’t. As Chet the Unicorn would say if he was here and not riding the magic rainbow to Happyland, that some people she envies are successful is apparently America’s greatest crisis; ergo, you should all be outraged! After all, to liberals, government’s primary function is catering to the worst impulses of jealous busybodies.
Piazza whines about Kardashian, Snooki, and Brangelina making money. For some reason, she is under the impression that what celebrities make is her business:
It is messed up! So what can we do about it?
Only a liberal sees other people being successful and finds it imperative to put a stop to it. Her solution?
So how about a movement to Occupy Hollywood?
Gimme a break. Here’s a better idea. How about you and the rest of the left-wing morons start a movement to shut the hell up?
We, as conservatives who love freedom – meaning of necessity that we love free enterprise and detest the idea of the kind of fascist nanny state these losers would impose in order to to make the world conform to their arbitrary and self-serving concepts of fairness – need to draw the battle line here, at the celebrities.
We need to defend the right of everyone – even stupid, useless, vapid nincompoops – to get rich.
Johnny Depp (by all accounts a good guy) made $50 million last year, Piazza complains. And we conservatives must say, “Awesome!”
Liberals see success as a problem – if people are able to live their own lives without the guidance of aspiring liberal fascists, the entire premise of liberalism is fatally undercut. So success is the target, and not a lot of people have been as successful as Johnny Depp has.
Yeah, he’s earned a lot of money. That’s great! The key word is “earned.” He has talent, he has skill, and he provides something that makes him worth $50 million a year to someone. That someone wants his services and considers it a good deal to fork over $50 mil, but Piazza, the liberal fascist, would prefer to substitute her arbitrary assessment of his value for the free choice of those who actually are paying him.
Hell no.
Depp’s time and talent belong to him — not to Piazza, not Michael Moore, not to any of those drumming idiots in Zuccotti Park.
It belongs to him, not her, and he owes no one – not me, not you, not Piazza, not Obama – any explanations, reasons or excuses. If he wishes to bathe nude in a swimming pool full of twenties, that’s his business and none of ours.
It’s his property. Taking it from him, as Piazza would love to do to satisfy her personal vision of justice, is theft.
It’s morally wrong.
And as a practical matter, it’s devastating. Piazza and the rest of her envious, thieving loser pals don’t really care about Depp’s millions. They care about our thousands. Hell, we all know how communism works; it’s the regular folks who get their property redistributed while the nomenklatura elite lives in luxury.
We can safely assume Piazza envisions herself a redistributer rather than a redistributee. It’s always like that with liberals; somehow we end up making the sacrifice while they sip champagne. Do you think Al Gore is going to take a seat on a biodiesel Greyhound bus or hop on a private jet to the next climate change scam confab?
Spreading hate for the successful, lying that their success is somehow illegitimate or “unearned” because it fails to meet some ever-shifting set of arbitrary standards, is simply a way to get their fascist footsies in the door to redistribute us.
Sure, it’s amusing to see a bunch of liberal Hollywood nitwits suddenly confronted by howling leftists who the stars thought they had been backing. As entertaining as poetic justice is, it’s still wrong to take people’s property just because they are stupid and embrace idiotic ideas – Alec Baldwin, I’m looking your way.
Sure, you have an elitist buffoon like Frank Rich figuratively – at least – sporting wood over the idea that this Occupy Wall Street nonsense will develop into a real class war. Limo leftists are always turned on by the thought of real live revolution – that’s why they don t-shirts silk-screened with the mug of that butcher Che Guevara (they forget how that coward died begging for his useless life before the CIA and Bolivian Army sent him on an eternal vacation to hell).
But dilettantes like Rich and the Hollywood left would soon find themselves against the bullet-pocked wall if a real revolution came. And they’d die wondering why, as so many other useful idiots have in the aftermath of previous leftist revolutions.
Of course, that won’t happen here, because there won’t be a leftist revolution, because too many of us will fight to the death before we ever let that happen. So there’s no real danger; the elite leftists from Hollywood to New York can keep on posing as the vanguard of the coming people’s struggle, kept safe and secure, as always, by the efforts of better men and women than themselves.
In the meantime, we can hold the line for freedom and free enterprise by defending the rights of clowns named Kardashian and malignant dwarfs named Snooki to sell whatever it is that people – for whatever unfathomable reason – choose to buy from them.
Maybe a few celebrities might learn a lesson from Occupy Hollywood. Maybe some might not be so quick to reflexively adopt the latest tidbit of lefty received wisdom next time. But it doesn’t matter. We don’t defend their freedom because we like them. We do so because it is the right thing to do, and because when we defend their freedom, we are defending our own.

Islam Under Scrutiny by Ex-Muslims - MUST READ

**
It’s the Ideology, Stupid!!!
by Warner MacKenzie
12 Jul, 2007
The West’s propensity for ignorance is nothing short of astounding when one considers that, in this first decade of the 21st century, a veritable gold mine of information, on any topic, is available at one’s fingertips via the internet. Never before have books on the subject of Islamic history and terrorism been so prolific, yet the same old dangerously erroneous opinions on the causes of Islamic violence remain as popular, uninformed and widespread as ever.
Seemingly unwilling to make the effort to research the true causes of modern Islamist violence, many in the West, including the media, are ever ready to proffer an autoethnophobic (cultural self-loathing) root-cause as to how “We Westerners must have, somehow, caused the problem and therefore deserve what we are getting”. The apologists, propagandists and appeasers continue to confidently promote the view that Islamic terrorism is born of, and nurtured by, poverty, social marginalisation, and Islamophobic bigotry. A raft of other exculpatory justifications for the current global violence is put forward with the one common theme that, in one way or another, the West is to blame and its chickens are simply coming home to roost. So when the recent revelation emerged that a number of medical professionals were involved in two failed terrorist attacks in Britain, the naively deluded went into a confused tailspin, scratching their, cognitively dissonant heads. Their beloved paradigm of the disempowered, impoverished and alienated Muslim now had more holes than a lace tablecloth. No doubt they are busily readjusting their theories to explain how these privileged, intelligent, middle-class professionals could be driven to their wits-end, and forced to lash out with such blind destructive fury at the “evil” West.
The number of medicos involved indicates that the Hippocratic Oath appears to be held in the same contempt as oaths of citizenship or, for that matter, any other. Of course, as emulators of their Prophet Muhammad’s example-- an obligation incumbent on all Muslims-- it’s little wonder that the dishonouring of one’s sworn oath is regarded so carelessly “By Allah, and Allah willing, if I take an oath and later find something else better than that. then I do what is better and expiate my oath” Sahih Bukhari 7:67:427.

True patriots and loyal citizens they can never be, as no sworn undertaking, irrespective of how solemn or binding, is capable of trumping a Muslim’s primary loyalty and overriding obligation to the “cause” of Islam. Nor is there anything novel in the involvement of medically trained jihadis in radical Islam.

A few prominent extremist doctors include:
• Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri--Al-Qaeda mastermind and number two man, a surgeon.
• Dr. Mohammad Rabi Al-Zawahiri--Ayman's father and a Muslim Brotherhood enthusiast, pharmacologist and professor.
• Dr. "Abu Hafiza"-- Moroccan psychiatrist andAl-Qaeda master planner.
• Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Rantisi--Late HAMAS leader, pediatrician;
• Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahar--HAMAS co-founder and leader, surgeon and lecturer at the Islamic University in Gaza;
• Dr. Fathi Abd Al-Aziz Shiqaqi- physician -Late founder of Islamic Jihad and active in Fatah.

Another widely accepted myth is that Islamic radicalism is merely an understandable and predictable response to post WW II Western foreign policy, particularly that of the United States due to its support for Israel and involvement in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. This simplistic explanation totally disregards the inflammatory effect of the radical Islamic ideologues of the 1920s, ‘30s and ‘40s, before America had any involvement with the Middle East and well before Israel even existed. The inescapable historical truth is that influential thinkers such as Hassan al Banna, Sayeed Qutb and Mualana Sayeed Abul Ala Maududi were the modern revivalists of an ideology as old as Islam itself ; an ideology founded on the belief of Islamic superiority with its dream of world domination. It was the later Saudi and Iranian windfall oil wealth that allowed those countries to promote, finance and export radical Wahabbi and Khomeinist armed jihad to countries both within and outside the Middle East, Hizbollah being a prime example. Hassan al Banna’s al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun (Muslim Brotherhood) is indisputably the progenitor of all modern radical Islamist groups.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Maududi's Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan sought to restore the Islamic theocratic ideal, namely the union of religion and state, whilst conveniently blaming the decline of Muslim societies on the contrary secular Western idea of the separation of church and state. Qutb and Maududi inspired a whole generation of Islamists, including Ayatollah Khomeini, who developed an Iranian version of their works in the 1970s.
Despite the gullible Westerner’s certitude that terrorist attacks are “all to do with Iraq and Afghanistan”, they are, in fact, all about Islam's desire to rule the world as a borderless Caliphate. Whenever the willfully deluded Westerner or duplicitous Muslim seeks to explain away these terrorists attacks as reactions to U.S or British foreign policy, simply ask them what it was that precipitated the first world trade centre attack in 1993 - ten years before Iraq and eight years before the U.S. became involved in Afghanistan!
What was it in Khomeini 's revolution , if not expansionist ideology, that refused to be satisfied with their stated objective of ridding Iran of the Shah and Western influence, but then, going on to spread Islamic revolution to the rest of the world ?
Khomeini tells us that:
“Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to paradise, which can be opened only for holy warriors!
There are hundreds of other [Koranic] psalms and hadiths urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”
“Islam grew with blood . . . . The great prophet of Islam in one hand carried the Koran and in the other a sword . . . . Islam is a religion of blood for the infidels but a religion of guidance for other people.”
---Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

But of all the ideologues whose works were a source of radical inspiration to tens, if not hundreds, of millions, Maududi is the most direct and unambiguous in his description of Islam’s ultimate aspirations:
“Islam is not a normal religion like the other religions in the world and Muslim nations are not like normal nations. Muslim nations are very special because they have a command from Allah to rule the entire world and to be over every nation in the world.”
"Islam wishes to destroy all States and Governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and programme of Islam regardless of the country or the Nation which rules it. The purpose of Islam is to set up a State on the basis of its own ideology and programme, regardless of which Nation assumes the role of the standard bearer of Islam or the rule of which nation is undermined in the process of the establishment of an ideological Islamic State."
“Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn’t look for a nation to be in a better condition than another nation. Islam doesn’t care about the land or who owns the land. The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power that gets in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy. In order to fulfill that goal, Islam can use every power available every way it can be used to bring worldwide revolution. This is Jihad.”
---Sayeed Abdul A'la Maududi, ‘Jihad in Islam’

The following comments, by other prominent Muslims, leave us in no doubt how widely these views are held.
“One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory.” ---Former Algerian President Houari Boumedienne’s prophetic warning to Europe in a speech at the U.N. In 1974. Thirty three years later, his prediction is in the process of unfolding.
“Soon we will take power in this country. Those who criticize us now, will regret it. They will have to serve us. Prepare, for the hour is near.”--- Belgium-based imam in 1994. “De Morgen”, Oct. 5, 1994. Cited in Koenraad Elst, "The Rushdie Rules", Middle East Quarterly, June 1998.
“The Quran should be America's highest authority”. “Islam is not in America to be equal to any other religion but to be dominant.”--- Omar Ahmad, CAIR's (Council on American-Islamic Relations) chairman of the board.
"I would like to see the Islamic flag fly, not only over number 10 Downing Street, but over the whole world,”--- Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, (former leader of the extremist Al-Muhajiroun movement in Britain) in an interview with Reuters.
"I want to see the U.S become an Islamic nation.” ----Ibrahim Hooper of CAIR.
"We are not fighting so that you will offer us something. We are fighting to eliminate you."---Hussein Massawi, the former Hezbollah leader behind the slaughter of U.S. and French forces 20 years ago.

"Jihad and the rifle alone. NO negotiations, NO conferences and NO dialogue."---Sheikh Abdullah Azzam--- (Osama bin Laden’s late mentor.)
“Allah revealed Islam in order that humanity could be governed according to it. Unbelief is darkness and disorder. So the unbelievers, if they are not suppressed, create disorder. That is why the Muslims are responsible for the implementation of Allah's Law on the planet, that humanity may be governed by it, as opposed to corrupt man-made laws. The Muslims must make all efforts to establish the religion of Allah on the earth”
---Muhammad 'Abdus Salam Faraj, “Jihad: The Absent Obligation”, p43
And finally, Anjem Choudary, Omar Bakri Mohammed’s successor,
claim Islam’s sovereignty in the U.K. and U.S.A.
What is it in these clear statements of intent that Western people find so hard to comprehend and come to terms with?

Palin and Obama: What Really Is Wisdom?

September 19, 2008
by Victor Davis Hanson

**
Palin vs. Obama
The race unfortunately has been framed the last two weeks by Democrats as one of Obama versus Palin. That will stop as Obama realizes he loses should it continue. Nevertheless, the comparison of the respective experiences of a McCain and Obama is so much in favor of the former, that it requires no discussion. So I turn to Palin, given the charges that she is unfit and clueless.
Is Palin Tough?
I have been asked by many why I have such confidence in a rookie Alaskan governor, given the rigors of the campaign to follow. (Many Republican pundits apparently do not.) I think we are starting to see the answers to that question. The proverbial "they" hacked into her private email accounts. They swore that her daughter was the real mother of her Down Syndrome baby. They sent legions of reporters and lawyers to Alaska to dig up dirt. They wrote columns suggesting that she was stupid, uneducated, dishonest, a liar, and worse still. All this was the work of moralists, who, in their more extreme manifestations, tried to flood a Chicago radio station to disrupt guests, who doctored photos of McCain to subvert his portrait, who disgraced the Atlantic brand by trafficking in pregnancy rumors, and who now publish the private email of Palin.
And? She is still smiling and apparently unmoved. Had they done this to Biden, he would have gone berserk. Wait — they didn't do this to Biden, and he seems near berserk in his daily gaffes.
So Who Is Really Experienced?
The point is this: I think it is much harder for a mother of three or four in an out-of-the-way Alaskan town to get elected to city council and the mayorship, then take on the entire Republican establishment and get elected governor than it is for a Barack Obama to emerge from Chicago politics into the Illinois state house and later Senate. The qualities that allowed a Palin to succeed without the power spouse, the identity politics, the Ivy-League cache, the fawning New York editors and D.C. insider-press will ensure she does not implode on the campaign trail — and won't in office either.
Barack Obama, in contrast, on numerous occasions has complained how tiring, how hard, how unfair, how racist the campaign has turned out to be; Palin never. I could not imagine Obama doing his hope and change thing in the Senate while holding a one-year-old and checking on four more children at home. And I wager shooting a moose or trying to navigate a snowmobile in the chill is a little harder than shooting baskets in one's down time or offering riffs to the fainting at a Beverly Hills get together or Presidio Heights fundraiser.
Again my point? That the much deprecated "life experience" is every bit as important to leadership as is abstract learning. Both complement each other, but so far I think Palin understands the symbiotic world of word and the world of deed far more so than does Obama. And again, we are not talking about McCain, where the contrast only widens–and is far more important.
Word and Deed, Head and Arm
Let me be a bit more specific still and indulge a bit from what I saw of these two worlds. I spent nine years as an undergraduate and graduate student — three at UC Santa Cruz, four at Stanford University, and two in Athens, Greece. In that near decade, I met all sorts of supposedly brilliant professors, undergraduates, and graduate students in the humanities — Ivy-League Ph.Ds, whiz-kids with Oxford and Cambridge degrees, Rhodes Scholars, famous archaeologists, accomplished classicists and historians, well-know humanities scholars, and Oxbridge Dons with landmark books on history and philology. In addition, the last five years I have worked at Stanford again, and often have met another array of brilliant entrepreneurs, in fields as diverse as finance, law, medicine, engineering, and computers.
I contrast all this with growing up my first 18 years in southwestern Fresno County on a 120-acre tree and vine farm, where for most of my life I knew only neighbors who worked the soil, and survived the tough environment of the local schools. And then once again from age 26 to my mid-forties, I farmed as well as taught, and so I had a good idea of what the highly educated did during the day, and what the farmers and small businesspeople did on weekends and late afternoons.
Two conclusions I drew from all of this. While civilization advances on the shoulders of the educated, it is carried along by the legs of the muscular classes. And the latter are not there by some magical IQ test or a natural filtering process that separates the wheat from the chaff, but rather by either birth, or, as often, by their preference for action and the physical world.Second, I have seen no difference in intelligence levels between those who inhabit the world of the physical and those who cultivate the life of the mind. That is, the most brilliant Greek philologists seemed no more impressive in their aptitude than the fellow who could take apart the transmission of an old Italian Oliver tractor, fix it, and put it back together — without a manual. And I knew three or four who could. The inept mechanic seemed no more dull than the showy graduate student who could not distinguish an articular infinitive from an accusative of respect.
My seventy-year old Austrian professor who, off the cuff, could recite the lettering peculiarities of some 100 or so Athenian inscriptions on stone was brilliant — but no more intuitive or impressive than my grandfather who at 86 could scan 100 rows of vines under irrigation, instantly access how many acre feet of water were in the field, how many more needed, and then screw up or down an iron gate on a 20-foot standpipe and ensure the ditch water reached the end of each row — and only the end of each row.
You know all this in your hearts.
For most of you readers, all this is trite and self-evident. But apparently not for hundreds in politics, the media, the universities, Hollywood, and the foundations who seem to think that a fumbling nervous Obama in interviews, who grasps for a word and utters vacuous platitudes is "really" contemplative, like his Harvard Law professors; but when a Sarah Palin seems nervous under scrutiny from a pseudo-professorial, glasses-on-the-lower-nose Charlie Gibson, she is clearly an empty head with an Idaho BA.
A Ronald Reagan knew more about human nature, and thus what drives the Soviet Union than did all the Ivy-League Soviet specialists that surrounded Jimmy Carter — much less the Sally Quins and Maureen Dowds of that age. We in America, unlike the Europeans, know this intuitively, grasp that a Harry Truman figured out the Russian communists far better than did the Harvard-educated aristocrat FDR.
A Sense of BalanceI am not calling for yokelism, or a proponent of false-populism. Rather, I wish to remind everyone that there are two fonts of wisdom: formal education, and the tragic world of physical challenge and ordeal. Both are necessary to be broadly educated. Familiarity with Proust or Kant is impressive, but not more impressive than the ability to wire your house or unclog the labyrinth of pipes beneath it.
In this regard, I think Palin can speak, and reason, and navigate with bureaucrats and lawyers as well as can Obama; but he surely cannot understand hunters, and mechanics and carpenters like she can. And a Putin or a Chavez or a Wall-Street speculator that runs a leverage brokerage house is more a hunter than a professor or community organizer. Harvard Law School is not as valuable a touchstone to human nature as raising five children in Alaska while going toe-to-toe with pretty tough, hard-nose Alaskan males.
What Is Wisdom?
Not necessarily degrees, glibness, poise, or factual recall, but the ability to understand human nature. And that requires two simple things: an inductive method of reasoning to look at the world empirically, and a body of knowledge and experience to draw on for guidance.Palin in empirical fashion bucked the Republican establishment and the old-boy network when she thought it was unreasonable; Obama never figured out or at least never questioned Tony Rezko or the Chicago machine, Trinity Church or the Pelosi-Kennedy liberal mantra — unless it proved advantageous. Palin draws on everything from position papers on ANWR to how to keep four screaming kids fed and bathed; Obama on Harvard Law Review and dispensing more public money to more Chicago interest groups.
That's a simplification, but also an answer to the old Euripidean question "What is wisdom?"

It's the North American Union, stupid... Part 15

PRESIDENT BUSH:
"Buenos días. Estamos encantados de estar en Mexico otra vez.
We're delighted to be in Mexico again... President Calderon, I appreciate your determination to create new opportunities for the people of Mexico. I share your commitment to building an Americas where the poor and the marginalized begin to feel the blessings of liberty in their daily lives. I respect your views on migration. Because we're working together, I believe we will make good progress on this important issue. Together, we're working to ensure that we have a secure and modern border that speeds the legitimate flow of people and commerce, and stop those who threaten our common safety and prosperity....
The United States respects rule of law...
But in the debate on migration, I remind my fellow citizens that family values do not stop at the Rio Grande River, that there are decent, hardworking honorable citizens of Mexico who want to make a living for their families. And so, Mr. President, my pledge to you and your government -- but, more importantly, the people of Mexico -- is I will work as hard as I possibly can to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
Today, the most important ties between the United States and Mexico are not government to government, they are people to people. These ties include churches and faith-based institutions that serve people on both sides of the frontera."
Gee, thanks El Presidente...
for selling out Americans and the country THEY LOVE.
You are one of the worst traitors we have... and we have plenty.

President Bush is in Mexico aggressively promoting his plan to give amnesty to as many as 20 million illegal aliens in this country.
Upon his arrival there, President Bush declared he will do everything possible to convince Congress to pass what he calls comprehensive immigration reform legislation. In his first visit to Mexico since Calderon's election, President Bush wants to send a message that the U.S. cares about its neighbors to the south. Bush said: "Mr. President, my pledge to you and your government, but more importantly, the people of Mexico, is I will work as hard as I possibly can to pass comprehensive immigration reform." But in Latin America, bitterness lingers over legislation signed by President Bush and pushed by conservatives in his party to build a 700-mile-long fence along the border. Michael Shifter of Inter-American Dialogue said: "Calderon is interested in an immigration agreement and clearly resents, as do most Mexicans, this idea of building a wall on the border between the United States and Mexico. It sends a message that Latin Americans are an not wanted in the United States, and it's been seen as an insult, and many have taken offense."
[Update: At an event hosted by the American Council for Immigration Reform, we learned from Rep. Duncan Hunter tonight that construction of the border fense has already begun outside Yuma, Arizona, and that 1.5 miles of it is completed at a cost of about $3 million. Hunter said DHS has over $1 billion in its coffers that is earmarked for continued fense construction. He also assured attendees that there is enough support in the House to turn back Sen. Kennedy's amnesty bill. Hunter noted that even Democrats are worried that Kennedy is going too far and that many are reluctant to put their slim majority at risk in 2008 by supporting the final bill.]

State lawmakers are asking tough questions about the Security and Prosperity Partnership, what some call the North American Union. It's a plan devised by the Council of Foreign Relations, supported by big business and government elites to integrate the economies of the United States, Mexico, and Canada, with no congressional or voter oversight or approval.
They're working with major companies, harmonizing regulations, they say, and working to move goods and people more safely and quickly across borders. Arizona state senator Karen Johnson (R) is convinced it's nothing short of a move toward a European-style North American union. She doesn't buy the government position that the SPP is an effort to make all three countries more efficient and safe. She said: "How can you harmonize and merge laws together with a narco-state? I mean, that is what Mexico is. It's an oligarchy. It has nothing to do with the way we govern. And Canada, as nice a country as it is, is socialistic." Hers is one of more than a dozen states where lawmakers are considering legislation or passing resolutions opposing the SPP.

Muslims, Mexicans, and European Americans

Our children and grandchildren may be destined to experience the joy of Reconquista laced with Islam.
But -- whether they do or not is entirely up to you.

Last week I was truly sickened when I read about the indictment of Suzanne Winter, a now prominent figure in the Austrian Freedom Party FPÖ, which is a lone voice opposing the ongoing flood of Muslims to Austrian soil. I’m not sure why this news report struck a note with me. Maybe I don’t like seeing an attractive intelligent woman being manhandled by bed chamber bureaucrats and Third World misogynists. It seems Ms. Winter really got under the skin of Austria’s insolent Muslim population and their brainwashed apologists this past January when she said the prophet Muhammad was “a child molester” because he had married a six-year-old girl and ultimately “consummated” the marriage when she was nine. She also said he was “a warlord” who had written the Koran during “epileptic fits.” She went on to say that that Islam is “a totalitarian system of domination that should be cast back to its birthplace on the other side of the Mediterranean,” warning that “a Muslim immigration tsunami in 20 or 30 years will replace half the population of Austria with Muslims if the current immigration policies are maintained. Following her remarks, Muslims threatened to kill Susanne Winter and she was placed in police protection. This is to say they held her so the Justice Department in Vienna could charge her with “incitement and degradation of religious symbols.” If this woman is convicted she may have to serve up to two years in jail simply for telling the truth.
Why, that almost sounds “Nazi-like” to me.
On the other hand, Alfred Hrdlicka, the Austrian “artist” who portrayed Jesus and his apostles frolicking in homosexual acts of sodomy during the Last Supper, has not been indicted, and we doubt he ever will be. Depicting Jesus having anal sex with his apostles is not deemed to be a “degradation of religious symbols” in Austria, but referring to the historically accurate fact that Muhammad married a six-year old girl and eventually had sex with her is NOT “incitement to racial hatred.” Then again, we would like to invite this “artist” to paint a depiction of comrade Mohammad locked into the same carnal pleasures as shown in the Last Supper and then display the painting at the Justice Department in Vienna. The heads would roll like marbles in a boxcar, wouldn’t they? At any rate, we hope this brave woman, Ms. Winter, is spared any further dishonor for simply working to preserve her race, nation and culture.
You know, if the Austrian government would have simply allowed its diverse European derived population to follow its innate preferences in a homogenous setting after the fall of Austro-fascism rather than forcing multiculturalism, political correctness and open borders down its throat -- coupled with the menace of Islamic revolutionaries -- the national dialogue would be very different indeed; and people like Ms. Winter wouldn’t have to worry about eating baloney sandwiches and Jello for two years. But for right now intercontinental corporations, having no connection with Austria except as a warehouse for the hive-like expenditure of their wares in a socialized economy, their governments push for open borders, the promotion of immorality, pro Muslim advocacy and foreign aid -- we can’t really address the war fascist Muslims have declared upon the world. Even in the face of Koranic rioting across Europe these past several years makes no difference to people who are rootless politically correct cosmopolitans. But people like Ms. Winter have to go jail for saying the obvious. But know this: a muscular West determined to safeguard its nation and birthright, devoid of all the present day poisons afflicting its national consciousness, could handle just about anything. Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go in that regard.
A front page photo essay in the Galveston County Daily News Published on October 24, 2006 showed Galveston Muslims celebrating the end of Ramadan (Eid), with Muslim children breaking a piñata. Yes, I’m talking about Texas and its majority non-white population! Seeing a photo of Muslim children celebrating an Islamic holiday with a Mexican custom at an Islamic center in a Texas city is about as unreal as it gets. And of course this enriching little shin dig took place at the Galveston Islamic Center, which is a short commute to the sunny shores of the Gulf of Mexico. While Mexico’s internal affairs are none of our business, the fact that Mexicans -- who are raised believing they need to come to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream because there is no Mexican Dream -- now have fledgling access to the religion of Islam bodes ill for the future. The fact that Islam is beginning to take root in Mexico, a Third World country with a volatile population with whom we share a physical border has been a side note in the grand scheme of the War on Terror. A couple of year ago there were reports that Muslim prayer rugs and other paraphernalia have been found in areas experiencing high border crossings, but I don’t recall what came of it. At any rate the Muslims are gaining a toehold in Mexico with something called the Centro Cultural Islámico de México (CCIM), a Sunni organization headed by Omar Weston, a British convert to Islam. This center has been having an effect in several big cities in northern and central Mexico and has established a dawah (call for conversion) center in Mexico City with the intention of offering a place for prayer and Islamic learning which ultimately means conversion. In the state of Morelos, there is a prayer hall and centre for recreation, learning and conferences, called Dar as Salaam, which also operates Hotel Oasis, a hotel that offers halal holidays for Muslim travelers and accommodation for non-Muslims who empathize with Islam.
People have been saying for decades that Muslims and Mexicans are trouble and as far as I’m concerned this nascent alliance settles it. In the years ahead not only shall we have to deal with the ongoing incursion of Mexicans into the United States who eventually become wards of the state while they devalue our culture and heritage, we now have to be concerned that quite possibly Reconquista will be supplemented with a potentially deadly strain of Islam; a strain that always seems to lurk below the surface. But don’t look for George Bush or Nancy Pelosi to nip this thing in the bud anytime soon. In my view, the message is that these hitchhikers are here to stay; and we can either put up with them or fight them. My choice is to fight them. Oh sure, for now Galveston’s Muslims seem to be behaving themselves by multiculturalizing certain aspects of American, Mexican and Islamic traditions, all to the satisfaction of the tolerance mongers in corporate and political America and the left over flower children of the sixties. Additionally, the Catholic to Muslim conversions in Mexico (and by default Texas) is somewhat tiny – at this time. Not that numbers really matter because it took only a loud mouthed minority population in Austria to bring her down to her politically correct knees and only nineteen fanatics to bring down the World Trade Center. So imagine what a half dozen Wahabbi Mexicans (affiliated with the notorious MS-13 gang?) could do to the Hoover Dam?
While it is true many poor rural Mexicans may convert to Islam for the sake of convenience and their hungry children, not even conceptualizing what Jihad means, we would do well to be concerned about the authentic converts. You know as well as I do Islam can take even the most ridiculous sense of inequality or domination and lay the blame directly at the feet of a non-Muslim entity. I mean, the Marxists have used the same fundamental procedure for decades in our schools and universities only without any religious trappings, and we’re still paying for it. Islam however uses divine blackmail and political dogma within a tightly organized spiritual system. Coupled with a malleable backwards population such as in Chiapas I wouldn’t be too smug to dismiss the potential fanatics they are capable of producing. In Iraq they are able to recruit the disenfranchised, mental patients, children, a few women, and the physically crippled and turn them into murderous zombies seeking paradise; which is to say a corresponding population of potential recruits now reside in Mexico and the backwaters of the southern hemisphere. Additionally, Islam is a worldwide religion with a universal objective. They want to force the world to surrender to Islam. Muslims don't need to rely to violence either when they can simply distort our freedoms and means of change which come natural to our people. Muslim religious leaders are not stupid. They can clearly see it isn't going to be Mexico that will try to stop to their global Caliphate. Like Ms. Winters of the People’s Freedom party in Austria said: a Muslim immigration tsunami in 20 or 30 years will replace half the population of Austria with Muslims if the current immigration policies are maintained. European Americans face a corresponding flood from Mexico as stated by many demographic and census studies conducted over the years. Right now its’ too early to tell what percentage of the invading population will be Muslim but we had better keep an eye on it.
And yet, the fools among us – and around the world -- will keep saying that America is its’ people—whoever they may be or wherever they may come from and could we please allow as many as possible onto our shores lest we appear “racist?” They say America is not a specific people, race or skin color, either; that its’ an idea -- never applying this childish logic to places like Japan or Africa. This is an example of thinking in which a person believes something that is entirely illogical even in the face of overwhelming proof to the contrary. Over the years we have seen this same uglification making headway into all of Europe as evidenced by the recent indictment of Suzanne Winters in Austria and other high profile dissidents. We have seen this same uglification making headway into the United States as people and organizations like the Minutemen and Save Our State are demonized, unemployed, and finally disintegrated, while groups like LaRaza are fed millions of dollars a year through corporate and government nurse maids. Like I said a moment ago we’re still paying for it. So hurting a few feelings in the Muslim world and the Mexican world seems to be more important than extolling the virtue of a true homeland. We had better take heed of the fact that those who pull the levers of power are more interested in Muslim dollars and cheap Mexican stoop labor than the safety and integrity of the United States, Austria, or any other Western nation. While U.S. policy wonks and safety bureaucrats need to do their jobs and monitor border security for al-Qaeda infiltration into Mexico, we would be better served if Washington concentrated its taxpayer incomes on building a fence bristling with razor wire, moats and armed guards. At the same time humane, no nonsense deportations ought to be implemented immediately. Otherwise we, you and I, if not our children and grandchildren may be the ones to experience the joy of Reconquista laced with Islam.
Therefore we must continue generating affirmative and useful information to reach prospective activists and supporters. Like Suzanne Winters of the People’s Freedom Party in Austria and the New Right you also understand those in power will use any means necessary to rid themselves of opposition coming from outside the political sandbox no matter how dangerous the alternative may be. But we also need to remember that every autocracy and top-heavy government will eventually fall over like a great fleshy abomination due to its own excesses, and we must stand ready to bring back our Founding Father’s nation in its place. That's our – your job -- and we're working on that situation day and night. We are determined to do whatever must be done. And finally, don’t give the powers that be too much credit: fear of governments’ power to control us is a better sheep herder than most of the governments’ actual (population) control apparatus -- remember that. We are, as yet, not at the phase they are in Austria and Europe where they can indict you for telling the truth but we are not far. Remember that, too. All we are able to do at this time is speak and distribute facts and ideas amongst our community and try to get them to think for themselves; to accept their responsibility as a distinct group of forward thinking European Americans. Traitorous immigration policies, the willingness of Mexicans and Muslims to make our nation bend to their will, and an utterly distracted population are legitimate concerns. However, we cannot address these issues in any hopeful way until we view the people we are discussing as the invaders they are -- and their supporters, as the dictators they are; limiting our public freedom under the semblance of protecting America from the danger of foreign terrorism.

When did the lowbrows take over the culture?

June 26, 2009
americanthinker.com
By James Lewis
...
I've been trying to grasp for a truth that is so obvious that all of us know it. But it's not a polite truth, so we don't talk about it. Yet I think it's important to say it out loud, because it is a truth that haunts our national discourse.
As a nation we are under the thumb of idiots. Not just indoctrinated, or wrong-thinking, or power-hungry, or manipulative, or even malevolent people. No, I mean real lowbrows, people who constantly fall for really stupid ideas. Neanderthals. (Look at the Governor of California just running the state budget into the ground. See what I mean? That's not just incompetence. It takes special stupidity, almost a deliberate, willful absence of real thinking.)
The Federal EPA is about to officially declare carbon dioxide to be a pollutant. That's not just false and unscientific; it's not just an excuse for taxing everything in sight, including breathing. It's not merely wrong. It's idiotic. It marks a low point in our national conversation. Scientists or engineers with a grain of sense shouldn't be taking the EPA seriously for a second. Forget the "climate experts," with their grossly inadequate computer models. Normally intelligent people should boggle at the EPA. They are bizarre. Only the truly ignorant could fall for this level of ignorance. Or those who just can't think.
Or look at Obama's unbelievable spending spree. No sane and sensible taxpayer could possibly believe that spending trillions and trillions of dollars on blue-sky fantasies makes any sense at all; the only reason Americans aren't in open rebellion yet is that half of them can't believe it's happening, and the other half are idiots. We haven't seen the effect (yet) on our pocketbooks. There's food in the stores still, and housing has gotten cheaper. But let Obama's budget affect our wallets directly and just watch the voters explode with rage.
The Democrats in Congress are trying desperately to put the brakes on Obama's egomaniacal ambitions because they can see themselves going over the edge in 2010. In a self-respecting, intelligent culture, the Obama budget would be dead on arrival. It's an insult to our national intelligence. (His foreign policy is more of the same.)
Or look at the global warming farce, still hotly pursued by the political classes in Europe and this country, although the Australians seem to be coming to their senses. China now has more millionaires than the UK, because they use all their resources, like coal, to fire their industrial plants. They will never sacrifice a single luxury car to the cap and trade fraud. Neither will India. China and India have been under the thumb of egomaniacal socialists (in the case of India) and communists (in the case of China). They've been there, done that, seen the suffering.
No wonder those Chinese college students fell all over themselves with laughter when Timothy Geithner assured them that Obama would never spend the United States into debt. What an idiot! They laughed because Geithner's stupidity or mendacity was too obvious for words.
That's how we should all react to the miserable frauds who are now in national office. You have to dull your senses with drugs or endless propaganda to fall for it. I've sometimes wondered how many people must have killed off their critical thinking with alcohol and drugs. I know a walking few drug casualties myself, people who just burned out their brains. I'm sure they voted for Obama.
Or maybe there's such a thing as learned stupidity. How else can so many people be so idiotic? Our national IQ has dropped to about 75: Several standard deviations below normal.
Well, we have now voted in a President for the lowbrows. Yes, Obama himself is smart enough; even smart enough to say a few years ago that he didn't feel ready for the presidency. Well, now we can see why he said that. But legions of idiots voted for a man who was plainly unqualified, even by his own estimation, and surrounded by a bunch of malignant sociopaths like Wright and Ayers and all the rest. How could he possibly win? Well, Obama cynically appealed to the idiots -- the young, the stupid, the naive, the silly, the rock idol worshippers, and probably the drug-addled masses, all the lowbrows in the land.
That includes the idiot savants of academia. Academics have a very narrow band of intelligence, something that satirists since Aristophanes have noticed and poked fun at. The first philosopher in Western history was Thales of Elea; Thales featured in Greek folklore as a man who walked around at night gazing at the stars only to fall into a ditch. That's probably a folksy giggle at the absent-minded professor who is constantly bumping into walls. But there's a big element of truth in it. Academics can be incredibly ignorant and dumb outside of their small areas of expertise. Professors and media scribblers generally lack human smarts. They are sure suckers for all the con artists of the day.
Obama is a smooth-talking hustler who has specialized in charming academic liberals, like a smart graduate student who needs to impress his teachers with every word. They just dote on him, like a proud parent smiling on a favorite child. He's their dream, a black man who sounds so smart.
In his press conferences he hypnotizes all the ink-stained wretches of the media. It's a sight to behold. The man swats a fly and the suck-ups of the media go ga-ga with applause, and go back and write articles about it. That's not just a reflection on their (lack of) character and judgment. It's not just their childish immaturity. It's a reflection on their brains, or rather, on all that empty space between their ears. Our media stars are just not very bright. They're idiots. That single fact explains a lot. (And yes, they are also corrupt, easily seduced, haunted by deadlines, decadent in their values, and very prone to mob thinking. But if they had any brains it might be harder to manipulate them like this. The White House just pulls their strings and they dance.)
Obama's 22 White House czars. That's really stupid. As well as a violation of the Constitution. But it's a Chinese laugh line. It's so obviously wrong and power-mad that it's not worth debating.
Legalizing drugs. That's really stupid.
Obama's power-grab over the medical sector of the economy? It's profoundly stupid. We can insure all the uninsured people in the country for a tiny fraction of all that money. We just need to fix the tire on our national car, and this guy tries to sell us a brand-new O-mobile, it can practically fly off the lot, all on credit, long-term payments, no money down. It's gonna be free! So what if you have to mortgage your wife and children? Even if we already have two national lemons in our garage, Medicare and Medicaid, which nobody likes. Now Obee is trying to sell us on a really, really expensive dream mobile that will fix our problems forever, plus it'll be cheaper than what we have now!
Can you believe it?
That sales pitch only works for idiots.
The rise to power and fame of the real lowbrows explains a lot. It even points to an answer of sorts. Because we've all been intimidated by the Cult of Nice not to contradict anybody who comes out with a really stupid, destructive idea. We can no longer call a really stupid idea what it is. I know that I censor myself all the time. We have been taught to keep our mouths shut when a word in time might make a real difference. We have allowed the national conversation to be dumbed down.
Here's my resolution for July Fourth: From now on I'm going to call idiocy idiotic. Not nastily, but as clearly as I can. It is high time for normal, intelligent common sense to become acceptable again. I'm happy to have a respectful argument with anyone who disagrees with me. But I'm going to start saying the magic words:
That's really dumb! That's really ignorant! You haven't thought about that much, have you? Have you ever considered another side of that batty idea?
I promise to be nice.
But honest.
Pass the word.
If we all start doing it we can change the world.

Below is a must-read post from today's homepage on
a site that is not only intelligent, but refreshing and one that brings us hope.
It is my firm belief that reform-minded Muslims are the minority, however. Until the "moderates" denounce the radical, hate-filled philosophy that passes for Islam these days - and not just the "methods" of terrorists - I will not change my mind. It is not enough to disagree with the methods of Islamofascist terrorists, they need to admit that the entire philosophy behind their deeds is wrong... mainly that Jews and other "infidels" are not evil, damed, or wrong. They need to all come fully in to the 21st century - in every way. Not just technologically, or as they find it suits them opportunistically. It means being aware, mature, evolved, spiritually independent, enlightened and most of all tolerant and accountable.
The majority of the world's Muslim population is nothing close to this.
That's how I see it.
Hopefully, some how, some way, that will some day change...

With this update, muslim-refusenik.com is embarking on an exciting experiment: to build an archive of articles by reform-minded Muslims. By reform-minded, I mean more than non-violent. I mean Muslims who are passionate about restoring reason and humanity to Islam.
I posted the first such article a few weeks ago. Click here if you missed it. Below is the latest article. I love the questions that the writer, Ali, is challenging Muslims to ask themselves...

One Muslim's Message to His People
By Ali S. Wyne

Our leaders are failing us. Whether or not we wish to confront it, the reality in much of the Muslim world is that of stagnant standards of living, limited freedoms, and needless bloodshed. If they do not intend to advance our best interests, then we must assume leadership ourselves.
I am a proud Muslim. However, I am disillusioned with the behavior of a small but disproportionately influential number of our people, who advocate and commit violence in the name of Islam.
The Holy Qu’ran, which I admire for its simplicity and humanity, expressly forbids such behavior. For this reason, I have nothing but contempt for religious leaders who are more interested in self-aggrandizement than they are in disseminating truthful interpretations of our holy text. I challenge them to tell me, in good conscience, that they are upholding Islam by telling their disciples to seek glory in their own destruction and that of others.
I am as fierce and persistent a critic of American foreign policy and Israeli conduct as you are likely to find. However, I find it increasingly difficult to support the behavior of Muslims who express their grievances through violence, notwithstanding my natural sympathies for them and their causes.
Pope Benedict XVI recently delivered an address in which he invoked a 14th-century Byzantine emperor’s criticism of Islam as “evil and inhumane.” Although I, too, took offense to his remark, I was stunned to learn that almost immediately after he issued it, a group of Muslims murdered an Italian nun in response. Why did so few leaders in the Muslim community condemn this act of revenge? Although I had tried to legitimate Muslims’ reaction to the printing of objectionable cartoons in Jyllands-Posten, I could not attempt to justify this particular event. Are Muslims going to respond to each criticism of Islam with an exhibition of arson, looting, and murder?
Since September 11, 2001, questions like these have grown more unsettling.
Why is it that suicide bombers are almost invariably Muslim, as are the individuals who plot to destroy commercial airliners?
Why is it that the Muslim world’s economy, with some exceptions, continues to stagnate, and that indices of human development therein are often comparable to those in sub-Saharan Africa?
Why is it that freedoms for women and political activists therein are among the most restricted in the world?
Why is it that Muslim governments so rarely condemn the violence that Muslims perpetrate, even against fellow Muslims?
In the seventh and eighth centuries, our ancestors were among the most progressive leaders of the civilized world. How and why is it that our present legacy is so different from theirs?
These outcomes are not the product of Western policies — of which, again, I am a fierce critic. Centuries of nearly uninterrupted decline cannot be solely ascribed to others’ actions.
Our leaders, of course, are as aware of this fact as any outside observer. But what incentive do they have to convey this truth? A government can far more easily institute and maintain repressive policies if it steeps its people in falsehoods, and keeps them distracted. Indeed, whatever rhetorical flourishes they may offer to the contrary, most leaders in the Muslim world care little that their people are desperate and miserable.
Indeed, however many of the arguments of “terrorism experts” may be distorted or inaccurate, they are grounded in some truths that no exercise in denial can obviate. When Islamic civilization enjoyed its greatest influence as a progressive and pluralistic community, the world’s most famous Muslims were intellectuals, whose work paved the way for Western inquiry into a myriad of disciplines. Today, the world’s most famous Muslims are terrorists, who have betrayed the religion that they claim to honor, and the people whom they purport to defend.
Rather than encourage young people to work hard and find employment, terrorist organizations exploit their suffering, drawing their recruits from the ranks of the poor and disaffected. (Youth unemployment in many Muslim countries often approaches or exceeds 50 percent.) Osama bin Laden and his supporters should ask: what good has al-Qa’ida’s mission achieved for Muslims? The world over, people increasingly view us with suspicion, fear, and repulsion.
Similarly, Muslim leaders should ask themselves: what good have their policies achieved for Muslims? While the rest of the world moves forward, we struggle, and blame others for our plight. We do so not because we suffer from some intrinsic tendency to defer responsibility, but because our leaders, to whom we look for guidance, encourage our denial.
Accordingly, I have nothing but contempt for Arab rulers who invoke the suffering of Palestinians to distract their citizenries. Palestinians deserve the full support, political and otherwise, of the global community, not the hollow words of individuals who have never before cared for, or acted to serve, Palestinians’ interests.
Whether they are monarchs who take refuge in the splendor of their palaces, or imams who achieve sanctity by the deceit of their words, it is time to bring to light these individuals’ abuses of power, and to inspire today’s Muslims to oppose their directives. I am calling for a revolution that is born not of the sword, but of the pen and of the heart. To young Muslims who wish to honor the legacy of their ancestors, and assume their place in global civil society, I say:
Resist the impulse to blame others for the condition of our people.
Work hard to improve it.
And, most importantly, strive to become the honest and sincere leaders who will one day offer hope and true leadership to Muslims.
If you disagree with my conclusions, I hope that you will ask yourself the same questions that I have asked myself, and recognize that we share the same goal: achieving the renaissance of Islamic society.
This outcome will never prevail, however, unless we accept reality, with all of the pain and ignominy that it carries. Illusions and complacency are the most oppressive barriers to our freedom.
Removing them will doubtless be arduous. But if we succeed in this endeavor, Insha’Allah, our people will rise.

Dhimmitude is the status that Islamic law, the Sharia, mandates for non-Muslims, primarily Jews and Christians. Dhimmis, "protected people," are free to practice their religion in a Sharia regime, but are made subject to a number of humiliating regulations designed to enforce the Qur'an's command that they "feel themselves subdued" (Sura 9:29).
This denial of equality of rights and dignity remains part of the Sharia, and, as such, is part of the law that global jihadists are laboring to impose everywhere, ultimately on the entire human race.

The dhimmi attitude of chastened subservience has entered into Western academic study of Islam, and from there into journalism, textbooks, and the popular discourse. One must not point out the depredations of jihad and dhimmitude; to do so would offend the multiculturalist ethos that prevails everywhere today.
But in this era of global terrorism this silence and distortion has become deadly. Therefore Dhimmi Watch seeks to bring public attention to the plight of the dhimmis, and by doing so, to bring them justice.

Here's an update on the fallout and furor over the Australian Cleric's "women are meat" speech... Of course, it's all about the islamophbia, stupid... oh, but not to mention Islamic double standards - uh, I mean logic... pretzel logic...
"Any campaign that deliberately targets Islam and the Muslim community can only have negative repercussions on the wider community, and unfortunately will only incite hatred against Muslims," the imams said. (read 'threatened')

"We stress that it is for the Muslim community, not external sources or pressures, to decide its own affairs* and therefore such inflammatory media campaigns** do not serve the interest of our Australian community."
*funny, I think along those same lines every time I hear "convert or die, infidel!"
**what about their own inflamatory rhetoric and suicide bombing campaigns?
They think they live in a bubble where they can say and do as they please, without reproach.

The Truth About Muhammad
an interview with Robert Spencer of jihadwatch.org, and an expert on Islam, it's philosophy, teachings and history.

Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Robert Spencer, a scholar of Islamic history, theology, and law and the director of Jihad Watch. He is the author of six books, seven monographs, and hundreds of articles about jihad and Islamic terrorism, including Islam Unveiled: Disturbing Questions About the World’s Fastest Growing Faith and the New York Times Bestseller The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades). He is the author of the new book, The Truth About Muhammad.
"... muslims traditionally have looked to Muhammad as the supreme example for human behavior (cf. Qur'an 33:21), what he was really like, according to the sources Muslims themselves consider reliable, will reveal a great deal about what non-Muslims can realistically expect in the long term from the Islamic world and the American Muslim community."

Meanwhile, across the pond... give some the freedom of expression

They use it to threaten everyone else's freedom of expression...
Cleric: Criticizing Islam Threatens Peace

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) - A leading Turkish cleric called criticism of Islam a serious threat to world peace, speaking Wednesday as Turkey prepared for a controversial visit by Pope Benedict XVI later in the month.
Benedict visits Turkey - his first as pope to a predominantly Muslim country - two months after provoking widespread anger by quoting an emperor who characterized the Prophet Muhammad's teachings as "evil and inhuman."
(gee - what would give anyone that idea?)

Ali Bardakoglu, head of the country's religious affairs, said "it was saddening" to see Islam being criticized while the religion's contribution to civilization is ignored.

(oh, I think we're all frighteningly aware of their more current contributions - namely that of suffering, oppression, blackmail, death and torture)

"This attitude, which fuels division and lack of mutual trust,

is seriously threatening world peace,"

(There was no perceived division and lack of trust until they started expressing themselves)

Muslims arrested in Old Bailey demo

Four Muslims were arrested outside the Old Bailey yesterday during angry protests against the trial of a man allegedly involved in protests against Danish cartoons.
"We should not be surprised at people doing something like 7/7. How else do you expect Muslims to express themselves?" - Anjem Choudary, cartoon protest organizer - "Islam is the fastest growing belief in the UK, the fastest growing belief in Europe and the fastest growing belief around the world."
Female protesters, in a separate enclosure from the men and wearing full veils, held placards reading: "Shariah — the only option for the UK."

And more Islamic respectfullness for freedoms of all kinds...
TURKEY: CONVERTS CHARGED UNDER SPEECH LAW

A Turkish prosecutor slapped criminal charges against two converts to Christianity earlier this month, accusing them of “insulting Turkishness,” inciting hatred against Islam and secretly compiling data on private citizens for a local Bible correspondence course.

Hakan Tastan, 37, and Turan Topal, 46, joined the ranks of 97 other Turkish citizens hauled into court in the last 16 months over alleged violations of the country’s controversial Article 301 restricting freedom of speech.

Zakat and Jihad from the Words of the Master
by Douglas Farah

There is an extensive campaign by CAIR and other Islamist groups to portray jihad as a purely spiritual struggle a good Muslim wages to overcome personal evil. It is also a point made often by the “moderates” of the Muslim Brotherhood. This has led to confusion in policy and a fear of offending if one calls jihad what it really is.

But as I have said repeatedly, just read what they say themselves to understand what the real agenda is. They tell us what they want to do, and yet we refuse to take them seriously by either understanding and knowing what they say, or acting to stop them...
(it's the Caliphate, stupid)

Father convicted in genital mutilation
LAWRENCEVILLE, GEORGIA. - An Ethiopian immigrant was convicted Wednesday of the genital mutilation of his 2-year-old daughter and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in what was believed to be the first such criminal case in the United States.
Adem's attorney acknowledged that the girl had been cut, but implied that the family of the girl's mother, who immigrated from South Africa, may have been responsible.
