Organizers of Russian March-2006 estimated that 7,000 ultranationalist activists had participated in the event citywide, and that 3,000 had been detained by police. "They were all released later because there were no grounds for holding them," said Vladimir Tor, a coordinator at the Moscow

In a speech he delivered in Brussels last week Mr Bukovsky called the EU a "monster" that must be destroyed, the sooner the better, before it develops into a fullfledged totalitarian state.Mr Bukovsky paid a visit to the European Parliament on Thursday at the invitation of Fidesz, the Hungarian Civic Forum. Fidesz, a member of the European Christian Democrat group, had invited the former Soviet dissident over from England, where he lives, on the occasion of this year's 50th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Uprising.

Minneapolis, MN (AHN) - Democrat Keith Ellison has been elected as the nation's first Muslim member of Congress on Tuesday after winning the Minneapolis-area district.
Ellison, who is also Minnesota's first nonwhite representative in Washington, admitted to having mixed feelings about being the first Muslim congressman.
"I wasn't trying to make any kind of political statement about my identity or anything when I ran," he said.
"I think the most important thing about this race is we tried to pull people together on things we all share, things that are important to everyone. We all need peace, and this Iraq policy is dangerous to our country," said Ellison, who is in favor of troop withdrawal from Iraq.
"I don't believe in abandonment of Iraq, I just don't think that we're going to have a military solution," he said.
However, Ellison, who is black, says his main aim is to help others understand that Muslims have much to contribute to America.
He also added that Muslims should know they are "welcome to the table of American politics."

Islamists at this stage in the war, want to use our democratic process to render our security laws like the Patriotic Act toothless, so that the Islamist fascists can act with impunity. In order to bring our open society down, they are using every possible opportunity, like in today’s mid term elections, they want Democrats to win because they believe that Democrats will work to weaken the security apparatus as instituted by the Republicans to defeat the terrorists. After carefully examining the performance of democrats on the national security legislation and Islamists have ascertained that the democrats are the only group whose voting pattern tends to support terrorists’ rights over Americans’ rights. And that was enough for them to throw their weight behind the Democrats.
Convinced that once the Democrats will win the control of the House and Senate, they will either abrogate the security laws like the Patriotic Act or soften it so much that it will then easily be exploited by them, the Islamists have launched a concerted campaign to convince the Muslims to back the Democrats. The instructions and commands being issued from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan and other centers of global jihad are clear on the issue.
The Kuwaiti daily Al-Seyassah’s October 29 “Digest of Public Opinion” discussed the midterm elections, saying that if “extremists such as Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and the Republicans at large rule longer, America will likely be transformed into a dictatorship and as such we expect that the situation currently existing in Guantanamo is likely to face the Americans themselves. … Consequently, most political observers are currently expecting the Republicans to incur an overwhelming defeat during the upcoming congressional elections.”
An editorial in the October 19–25 Egyptian state-run English-language weekly Al-Ahram said, “The Republican Party is in so much trouble it may risk a major confrontation in the Middle East before half-term congressional elections in November. Republicans are far behind in the polls.”
The columnist Sandy Shanks wrote on Al-Jazeera’s Web site on October 22, “If the Democratic Party seizes Congress or the Senate. … This might even open the door for impeachment,” He asked rhetorically, “How badly does Bush want to win next month?”

The August 30 edition of the London-based Arabic-language daily Asharq Al-Awsat featured “The U.S. Republican Party and Defeat,” an article by an Al-Arabiya TV host and columnist, Hussein Shobokshi. “The Republican Party is beginning to see the danger signs and recognize that the current administration will cause it to lose … and suffer a defeat in the next elections,” he wrote.

Recently, a group of Arab diplomats that included the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad and Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki of Iran met in Damascus. Among the topics of discussion was the American elections, Mr. Mottaki called Mr. Bush a “loser” and said that after next week’s elections, the president will be politically paralyzed and unable to initiate any political moves.

As he discussed the upcoming elections before a crowd chanting “death to America, death to Israel,” Hojatoleslam Ahmad Khatami, who led last week’s Friday prayers in Tehran, said: “The savage and devilish acts and performances of Bush, as a Republican, have placed his party in a very critical condition.”

An editorial in the October 27 Saudi English-language daily Arab News said, “As the hours tick by to the November 7 midterm election, the Bush administration is wiggling frantically on the butcher’s hook.”

Diego Pillco, a 19-year-old illegal immigrant who had been renovating the apartment below Shelly's office, told cops in a chilling confession that he was afraid of getting arrested and deported, sources said.
So he followed the 40-year-old married mom of a toddler into her apartment and knocked her unconscious, sources said.
Pillco told police he panicked and staged a suicide - using a bedsheet to string up the petite actress by her neck from a shower curtain rod, sources said.

Exactly 210 years ago this week, toward the end of George Washington's second presidential administration, a document was signed with the first of two Barbary Pirate states. Awkwardly titled the "Treaty of Peace and Friendship, signed at Tripoli November 4, 1796 (3 Ramada I, A. H. 1211), and at Algiers January 3, 1797 (4 Rajab, A. H. 1211)," it contains an extraordinary statement of peaceful intent toward Islam.
The agreement's 11th article (out of twelve) reads: As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion, - as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen, - and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."
In June 1797, the Senate unanimously ratified this treaty, which President John Adams immediately signed into law, making it an authoritative expression of American policy...

Europe got sucked into a "free trade" proposal that is morphing into a regional government. The United States is being pushed through the same process.
Open any international business college textbook these days... and one will likely find some discussion about a topic called "regional integration." Sounds innocuous, doesn't it? That's how it is portrayed in the halls of modern academia - intertwined with such labels as "free trade," "falling trade barriers," or "lifting all the boats."
Well, we Americans are about to find out the hard way just what this is all about - unless we change course. The Europeans got sucked into a common market "free trade" proposal that morphed into an economic union and is now morphing into a full-blown political union - a regional government. The United States is being pushed through the same process. However, whereas the European nations took 50 years to go through it, the internationalists in our government intend to complete their plan much sooner - as in two decades.
How does regional integration work? "A free trade area, all barriers to the trade of goods and services among member countries are removed." That's how NAFTA was sold - and that's what Americans who supported NAFTA thought they would get.
What we really got was something else.
The next phase is to create a customs union. "A customs union eliminates trade barriers between member countries and adopts a common external trade policy." It is certainly not insignificant that Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member Robert Pastor pushed this idea before Congress in 2005 in a proposal entitled "Building a North American Community," wherein Mexico, Canada, and the United States would adopt a common tariff. The scheme also calls for the integration of Mexican and Canadian personnel "into the Department of Homeland Security," among other things. How fun.
The third phase is a common market. A common market "allows factors of production to move freely between members. Labor and capital are free to move because there are not restrictions on immigration, emigration, or cross-border flows of capital between member countries." This is exactly what is behind the Bush administration's fanatical zeal to implement its "guest worker"/amnesty program. By granting amnesty to the millions of illegals already here, the floodgates would be swung wide open for many more illegals to cross our borders.
A consequence of battering down our nation's borders by permitting illegal immigration would conveniently lead us into the fourth phase, which is economic union. This phase not only includes everything that a common market does, but also "requires a common currency, harmonization of members' tax rates, and a common monetary and fiscal policy. Such a high degree of integration demands a coordinating bureaucracy and the sacrifice of significant amounts of national sovereignty to that bureaucracy."
Yep, you read that right. We are getting some of the "coordinating bureaucracy" under NAFTA's Chapter 11 tribunals, which have begun overturning U.S. court decisions. The monetary policy and harmonized tax rates are quietly being planned even as the spoils plundered from U.S. taxpayers are ladled out to the rich and infamous in Mexico, under the pretense of building up Mexico's infrastructure. This has started with the North American Development Bank. A regional currency, like the euro, will be pushed next.

The final phase is political union. We should ask ourselves: what would be left of our Constitution at that point?

The CFR internationalists who are positioned in key spots of our nation's political institutions are racing down the "free trade" highway toward a North American Union - which they intend to complete by 2010.

We should not forget that even Karl Marx loved "the Free Trade system" because of its "destructive" capacity to "break up old nationalities … and [hasten] the Social Revolution."

When dozens of elk escaped from his ranch, Rex Rammell thought he faced the task of recovering his herd. Instead, he witnessed the state-sponsored slaughter of his elk.

The Chief Joseph Idaho ranch in eastern Idaho lies in the shadow of both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks amid the unparalleled natural splendor of the Rocky Mountain West. The ranch, owned and operated until recently by veterinarian Rex Rammell, has been home to a herd of hundreds of prized Rocky Mountain elk. In August, a bear, no doubt seeking an easy meal among the ranch's herd, dug under the fence that separated Rammell's elk from the wild elk that roam the Idaho wilderness. Shortly after, nearly 100 elk from Dr. Rammell's herd escaped through the damaged fence.
The story of the escaped elk should have ended with Dr. Rammell recapturing his wayward herd, as would have happened with any other escaped livestock. Instead, the escaped elk became the object of an unprecedented property rights struggle that pitted an embattled rancher against a state government eager to assert its "right" to destroy property at the whim of the governor.

Former Soviet Dissident Warns For EU Dictatorship

Vladimir Bukovksy, the 63-year old former Soviet dissident, fears that the European Union is on its way to becoming another Soviet Union.
In a speech he delivered in Brussels last week Mr Bukovsky called the EU a "monster" that must be destroyed, the sooner the better, before it develops into a fullfledged totalitarian state.

It is this reporter's opinion that George W. Bush has been rejected by the American people.
We have seen through his arrogance, bullheadedness, and condescension. He has turned off the American people and has all but ruined the Republican Party.
It becomes more apparent by the moment that Mr. Bush is a one world globalist; that without announcing his intentions, Bush has decided to support creation of a North American Union and he will do it through a process of governmental regulations never having to bring the issue before the American people for a clear referendum or a vote.
The Bush group has decided to backdoor creation of a North American Union that would erase our borders with Mexicoand Canada and would create several super regional governing bodies with jurisdiction over the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court.
How sad this is for America!

If George W. Bush had honored and fulfilled his oath of office, on Sept. 12, 2001, he would have immediately:
placed military troops on the Mexican border;

added 10,000 border patrol agents to guard against lawless crossings;

built a fence along the border (had he started then, it would be in place now!);
instructed border patrol agents to arrest, prosecute and jail employers of illegal aliens;
stop the massive abuse of Amendment 14 that allows millions of women to cross our borders and give birth to an illegal child for immediate welfare;

instructed Congress to bring him a bill that stopped massive migration from the Third World;
demanded Congress rework the 1965 Immigration Reform Act and
stopped 20 million illegals from causing horrific havoc to our schools, medical systems, language, jobs, communities, and traffic with gangs, drugs, domestic abuse, rapes, welfare fraud, and a host of other calamities visited upon America.
Had Bush and Congress done their jobs, we would

We wouldn't suffer 25 American deaths daily by illegal aliens who kill 13 of us on our own highways and another 12 deaths from gun and knife violence.

We wouldn't have 16,000 new cases of tuberculosis, 7,000 cases of leprosy, countless thousands of cases of hepatitis, dengue fever, Chagas disease, and all the new AIDS cases.

We wouldn't be paying $2 billion annually for "anchor babies."

American workers would be paid a living wage.

We wouldn't have 618,000 convicted felons in our prisons at an annual cost of $1.6 billion.

We wouldn't have thousands of illegals committing car thefts, insurance fraud, driving while drunk and ID theft.

We wouldn't have 11,000 MS-13 gang members operating in 33 states, distributing $100 billion in drugs to our children.

We wouldn't have $60 billion in cash transferred out of our country annually.

We wouldn't have Muslim terrorists embedding themselves in our country.

Our schools could teach our kids in English and cause a 67 percent dropout rate in high schools.

We wouldn't have Mexican flags marched through our streets by disloyal and subversive illegal aliens.

I Am Now a Dissident (and You Should Be, Too!)

We live in a nation where the constitutionally respectful are becoming increasingly outnumbered by those who neither understand the underpinnings of our founding nor recognize the benefits that flow from those foundational values. 

In place of legitimate constitutional scholarship in our educational system, we see a systematic and unrelenting effort to overturn the original concepts of our Constitution in favor of some "living" replacement -- an "updated" document made for a diverse and evolving population, or so we are told.

Those who hold offices created by the Constitution itself are the very people using the power of those offices to usurp constitutional authority and undermine its place in American law.

After Obama utilized his entire first term to levy insult after insult against the rule of law in our nation, we conservatives appealed to our fellow citizens to vote with us to halt his lawlessness.  We discovered to our eternal dismay that we -- not they -- are the minority.

Abraham Lincoln said:
We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.
This role has fallen to us now.  We are both more and less than the citizens we were before 2012.  We have become dissidents.  In our own land.  We are, however, in good company.  After all, Jesus was a dissident.

But let's look at a more approachable example for our time: Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

Born 95 years ago, Solzhenitsyn became one of his country's most famous citizens, and, in the view of many of his countrymen, its most notorious traitor.  By chronicling the forced labor abuses of the Soviet Union's political prison system, he revealed the inherent nature of communism to the world.

Solzhenitsyn was born a year after the Soviet revolution of 1917.  Soviet statism was his world.  He drew the ire of Stalin's regime by simply discussing how far the reality of communism was from the promise of communism.  He saw through statist ideology from the beginning and dedicated his life to warning others of its inevitable outcome. 

His first published novel, One day in the life of Ivan Denisovich, was a tightly focused exposé on the lives of those in the labor camps.  It revealed much, exposing the abusive excesses commonplace in the camps, but did not take the final step of offering judgment on the system that oversaw those camps.  That would come later, in his seminal work, The Gulag Archipelago.

In Gulag, Solzhenitsyn deconstructed the moral case for communism.  In more than two thousand pages over three volumes, he contrasted communist ideology with the natural free state of man, daring to illuminate for shuttered Soviets that place in the pantheon of existence that man holds between God and the angels -- his relationship to good and evil -- and the illegitimacy of the state's intrusion into the equation.

Almost singlehandedly, his work removed communism from among the legitimate forms of government recognized on Earth.

He didn't stop there.  He cast a critical eye on Western societies as well, faulting them for replacing God with the pursuit of wealth, just as Communism had replaced God with the State.

He particularly disliked the West's conflation of legality with morality, abhorring the idea that because it is legal, it is also right.  He decried the application of this distorted concept to the practice of abortion, declaring that the imprimatur of legality granted by the State will not be enough to pass muster with God. 

As he grew older, his faith became increasingly important to him.  He spent his declining years urging his fellow citizens in Russia to rediscover their connection to God as partial recompense for having allowed the State to usurp God's throne.

He died in 2008, still writing, still agitating, still wearing his greatest title, that of dissident.

So, what can we learn from Solzhenitsyn?
  • Stories teach better than arguments. People may not understand the "takings clause" of the Constitution, but they will become incensed about a story of government forcing people from their homes.
  • Teach with stories, not just with information. Stories internalize truths we recognize, but don't fully understand. A story is accessible to anyone, regardless of education or political inclination. After all, Hollywood was built on exactly that, and we know the extent of their cultural power.
To that end, here are some pieces of advice.

1) Never underestimate the power of mockery. 

It is irrational and, as such, irrefutable.  It allows for the bludgeon of humor to strike your opponent without drawing blood.  Mockery does all its damage on the inside, unnerving your opponent and derailing his arguments.

2) Learn from Solzhenitsyn's methods. 

Focus on the result of a policy or initiative, and force those responsible to explain and defend it.  Solzhenitsyn didn't simply decry Communism.  He illustrated the brutality, and forced Communists to explain why it must be that way.

3) Know your stuff. 

No one can be knowledgeable about everything, so pick your battles, do your homework, and know more than your opponent.  This is how you poke the bear without getting mauled.  Embarrass your opponent into either admitting he knows less than he should or lying to cover up his deficiency.  Either way, you have the upper hand, and he will forever be on the defensive with you.

4) Always remember: volume is not a substitute for facts. 

A whisper will drown out the sounds of armies, if that whisper is the truth.  Make them squirm as they try to defend the indefensible.  Remember always: the tyrant's greatest weakness is his belief that he has no weaknesses.  Exploit that.

Those who will oppress their fellow citizens are not imported from another land for the purpose.  They are your neighbors already.  They are your friends and family, and in some cases, they might even be you. 

These government employees will rationalize their assistance in the confiscation of liberty as "simply doing their jobs," as did the members of the National Park Service when they followed the petulant orders of the president to close open-air memorials during the recent government shutdown.

Even the most complicit bureaucrat often believes to the end that he is serving the people, even if that "service" results in the abrogation of liberty, or ultimately, life.

While the bureaucrat may feel a vague sense of molestation as he follows orders he knows to be wrong, he will in the end side with his pension and benefits time and again, until, as Solzhenitsyn describes it, "the arrest is made."

Solzhenitsyn writes in Gulag:
At what point, then, should one resist? When one's belt is taken away? When one is ordered to face into a corner? When the policeman illegally crosses the threshold of one's home?  The arrest consists of a series of incidental irrelevancies, of a multitude of things that alone do not matter, and there seems no point in arguing about any one of them individually...and yet all these incidental irrelevancies, taken together implacably constitute an arrest.
Our arrest is in ObamaCare.  Our arrest is in an abusive and rogue IRS, and a myriad of other government scandals ignored and unpunished.  Our arrest is found in every mewling surrender our "representatives" negotiate with the lawlessness of anti-constitutional governance.  

Our belts have been taken.  We are facing the corner, and the state is approaching the door.  Civil disobedience is the right of every free citizen when faced with injustice.  Embrace that right, and make the most of your new status.  Be a dissident.

Critical acclaim is mounting for the newly released "United in Hate: The Left's Romance With Tyranny and Terror," - with President Reagan's national security adviser, Robert C. McFarlane, calling it a "must-read."

In his book, which assuredly will make so-called "progressives" see red, Glazov describes the unholy alliance between jihadists and people like Michael Moore, Sean Penn, Ted Turner and Noam Chomsky.
He uses the Leftists' own words to reveal their agenda of death, and now a flood of praise is pouring in.
McFarlane said it is "the redefining work for 21st Century readers of an eternal message."
President Reagan's assistant secretary of defense, Richard Perle, said, "Jamie Glazov rolls over left-wing intellectual pretensions with a Mack truck that handles like a Porsche. He rounds them up – and when he's finished, there's nothing left."
Although history allows no doubt Leftist beliefs have spawned mass carnage and misery, and the deaths of millions of people, until now it has been extremely difficult for rational people who value personal freedom to understand the motivation of those who live in comfort, yet embrace monstrous dictators, ideologies and policies that leave only death in their wake.
Rising to the call, Glazov uses the astonishing words of well-known Leftists to explain their love for and deification of totalitarian ideologies with clarity and candor.
R. James Woolsey, former CIA chief, says Glazov's "courageous and illuminating book" calls out the "Nazis and Stalinists' of today."
"What draws Leftists moth-like toward the annihilating fires of unbridled totalitarianism, or drives them to slavishly worship at the feet of dictators?" asks Ben R. Furman, the FBI's former counterterrorism chief. "Dr. Glazov answers these and other 'head scratching' questions in a court-ready presentation of the Left's mindset that will make forensic psychologists proud."
"This superbly enlightening book should be required reading for the American and European policymakers that are not utterly beholden to the Left, for most of them have yet to come to grips with the Islamic supremacist agenda and its totalitarian imperative – which Glazov ably exposes here," writes Robert Spencer, author of the New York Times best-seller "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)."
Glazov holds a Ph.D. in history with specialities in U.S., Russian and Canadian foreign policy, and is editor of FrontPage Magazine.
Quoting notoriously leftwing British lawmaker George Galloway, "United in Hate" makes the beliefs of today's political Left crystal clear:
"Not only do I think it's possible [a Muslim-leftist alliance] but I think it is vitally necessary and I think it is happening already," explained Galloway. "It is possible because the progressive movement around the world and the Muslims have the same enemies. Their enemies are the Zionist occupation, American occupation, British occupation of poor countries, mainly Muslim countries. They have the same interest in opposing savage capitalist globalization, which is intent upon homogenizing the entire world, turning us basically into factory chickens which can be force-fed the American diet of everything from food to Coca-Cola to movies and TV culture and whose only role in life is to consume the things produced endlessly by the multinational corporations ..." You get the idea.
Ronald Radosh at FrontPage notes how today's members of the Left "seek to forge an alliance with America's enemies, once the Communist world, now the forces of radical Islam;" adding, "Glazov traces and seeks to analyze the causes of this movement from the left's support of 'the red flag of proletarian revolution' to that of the 'black flag of Islamic jihad.'
"In many cases, Glazov shows how the same people who once sang the praises of Stalin as an anti-fascist leader now praise Islamic terrorists who seek to attack the West. While many learned from 9/11 that the West had real and very dangerous enemies, major figures of the once pro-Soviet Left apparently felt rejuvenated, viewing the attack on the twin towers as the revenge of the masses for American oppression of the Third World. For these people, Glazov writes, 9/11 was a 'personal vindication,' since they saw 'only poetic justice in American commercial airplanes plunging into American buildings packed with people,'" Radosh says.
Adds Brigitte Gabriel, a renowned terrorism expert and New York Times best-selling author, "'United in Hate' is a must-read for all Americans concerned with the future of America."
"Finally, someone has the courage and the bravery to fully expose a mystery which for years has baffled us. The trutyh is o the cover, but it takes someone like Dr. Glazov to make us see it," says Joan Lachkar, author of "How to Talk to a Narcisssist."

Glazov concludes: "This is where the Western Left and militant Islam (like the Western Left and Communism) intersect: human life must be sacrificed for the sake of the idea. Like Islamists, leftists have a Manichean vision that rigidly distinguishes good from evil. They see themselves as personifications of the former and their opponents as personifications of the latter, who must be slated for ruthless elimination."
Sounds crazy, but how else can one explain the views of famed moviemaker Francis Ford Coppola, who said of one of the world's most notorious dictators: "Fidel, I love you. We both have the same initials. We both have beards. We both have power and want to use it for good purposes." Or Harry Belafonte, who said: "If you believe in freedom, if you believe in justice, if you believe in democracy, you have no choice but to support Fidel Castro."

On the new 'Kinder, Gentler Totalitarianism'

Was Eric Holders "nation of cowards" comment a signaling of the arrival of an omnipresent, authoritarian government that exerts oppressive control over our individual lives and thoughts? Robert Weissberg believes that it was and offers a convincing discussion to support his belief:
Eric Holder's "nation of cowards" comment wasn't simply a roundabout way of making the tired old accusation of "institutional racism." It signaled the acceleration of a trend toward the state policing not only of behavior but attitudes, ideas, and the interpretations of facts.

On February 18th 2009, Eric Holder, our first African American Attorney General gave a well-publicized speech in which he called Americans cowards for, among other things, refusing to engage in an open, frank dialogue about our race relations. Reactions were immediate, nearly all negative and most correctly saw this as an effort to put whites in pillory so as to hector them with the usual accusations of racism, discrimination and all the rest as a first step to extract more tangible benefits. This much was clear. Less obvious, but more important, is that a "frank and open discussion" will inevitably invite government to monitor our private thoughts to build a "better" more racially just society. Such "honest" dialogues will not be policy debates as one might discuss school busing; this is about drawing to the surface what Peter Brimelow calls "hate facts," that is, empirically indisputable truths that are justly inconvenient for America's smothering liberal orthodoxy. Uttering them is, at least to champions of the reigning orthodoxy, far more hazardous than endorsing mere misguided public policy; they challenge the modern liberal state's very foundations. In a nutshell, if Holder and company get their way, white America is to be put on the couch and coaxed to confess its selective misanthropic urges, and that done, we can be properly weaned from the thoughtcirmes debilitating blacks.
Of all the tricks to defeat opponents, classifying opposing views as a debilitating mental illness is perhaps the most nefarious. This medicalization strategy was explicit in the Soviet Union where "deranged" dissidents required long stays in insane asylums. Communist China, Cuba and other totalitarian regimes also had their versions of forcefully refurbishing the dissident. The gentler American re-education method only differs in degree, not kind. Here college students caught ridiculing wacky feminists must undergo a therapy that inevitably begins by demanding frank acknowledgment of one's injurious thoughts, regardless of intended harm, let alone accuracy. Such treatments are not unusual; they are official policy for as Paul Gottfried has observed, the modern welfare state takes reforming supposedly misguide beliefs as part of its it central ameliorative mission--a roof overhead, food on the table, and mush in the brain.
