Federal Grants For Terrorists


The IRS has many things to be embarrassed about, but this one takes the cake.

A grand jury has indicted Marwan Othman El-Hindi and Ashraf Zaim on several charges related to terrorism. A separate, seven-count charge of conspiracy to defraud the IRS was handed down against the two men after they were rewarded a $40,000 grant by the IRS and diverted the funds for personal use, which probably helped them in their terrorism-related activities:
