Foreign imams who do not learn English should be banned from giving sermons in UK mosques, a Labour peer has said.

Does anyone really believe 'language' of an imam is the problem? Good grief, this is a war that will get terribly bloody and hot if we don't grasp the fact that the problem is the bloody doctrine, the entire belief system that is ISLAM. . . not just muslims, or the language they speak.
There are far too many believing
radical Islam is the problem to which the solution is moderate islam. BALDERDASH!
Islam's immutable texts provide no alternative to the koran and sunnah for 'moderates' to look to avoid engaging jihad. Avoiding the obligation of jihad, so called 'moderates' are either ignorant of such requirements, or too lazy to carry them out. Those who have consciously chosen not to follow it are probably muslims in name only, frightened of the consequences of apostacy, understanding it would result fragmenting/destroying family ties at best, and honor killings at worst.
Islam never was and can never be benign. . . regardless the language in which it is preached.
Infidels can now access and read hundreds of the Hadith (the sayings and acts of Muhammad), . In addition to reading Qur’an and Hadith, Infidels can read the sira, or life of Muhammad. As al-insan al-kamil, the Model of Perfect Man, the figure of Muhammad is at the center of Islam, and everything he is reported to have done or said, or even remained silent about, in 7th century Arabia is to be emulated by believers for all time and all places.
Then become familiar with the history of jihad (synopsis in left column.) Contemplate the reality of the countless brutal examples provided by generations of believers following the 'perfect' example of their beloved 'prophet' muhammad, that aggressive warrior who claimed that 'war is deception" presents a model of the Perfect Man (uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil) that, for Infidels, is blood-curdling..
Pick up a paper, periodical or consider daily reports of jihad du jour to appreciate the degree of muhammedan infiltration already permitted within western societies - from taxi drivers to physicians to policemen to Politicians and educational arenas. . .the threat is embedded.
