Islamic Tolerance Alert: "Man Halts Action against Compulsory Arabic Names following Threats"
from NIS News, with thanks to Fjordman:
HAARLEM, 30/05/07 - A Moroccan man who was opposing the Moroccan state intervention with the names given to children born in the Netherlands has halted his campaign. The many threats he received were too much for him, newspaper De Volkskrant reported yesterday.
In registering a newly-born baby, Moroccan parents have a list stuck under their nose by Dutch municipalities out of which they have to choose a name. This official list distributed by the Moroccan government contains only Arabic names. This is discriminatory and violates freedom of choice, according to Moussa Aynan. Dutch municipalities are thereby an outpost of the Moroccan government, De Volkskrant quoted him as saying.
The 34 year old Aynan, who has just become a father himself, is a Labour (PvdA) council member in Haarlem. Hundreds of angry and threatening reactions have reportedly come in on his website in the past weeks from the Netherlands and abroad. So many that he has now decided to remove his weblog from the air. "It became too much, my wife particularly became afraid," said Aynan in the newspaper.

Quoting a comment placed at DW:
"Some added information:
The Moroccan Constitution states that it is not possible for a Moroccan citizen to give up his Moroccan nationality. That's why every new generation of children of Moroccan descent will be Moroccans themselves, even if they live abroad and may never visit Morocco.
So there is no way for this poor man to shed this unwelcome legacy. I'm sure he would give it up if he could. - Posted by: Flying_Dutchman"
This mandated dual citizenship is a sword that cuts both ways. Don't you think it will soooo much easier to identify which immigrants must be deported when the sane citizens of Holland finally wake up and recognize their survival instinct?
The Dutch would be well off to familiarize themselves with Hugh Fitzgerald's writings:

Read about Masaryk and Benes. Read about the Benes Decree, and of how the most tolerant and civilized and advanced state in Central or Eastern Europe decided, after World War II, that its people would never again have to endure the security threat from the ethnic German minority --the so-called Sudeteners -- about whom Hitler had been so solicitious (along with the "Arabs of Palestine" he always mentioned in the same speeches), who had been used by Hitler and Nazi Germany before the war, to stage "peaceful" demonstrations that would be put down by the Czechs, making them look bad for papers in London and Paris, and during the war, as Volksdeutsche, were given German rations and treated by the German army as full fellow Germans). And so, with the Benes Decree, a decree that no Czech at the time or since, and no Western statesman at the time or since, has found wrong, has found it cause for reproach, and they took care of their security nightmare, as they saw it, once and for all. And it was a solution that only unrepentant German revanchists have dared to attack in the six decades since. -Posted by: Hugh at May 11, 2007 01:53 PM

if we can do almost nothing, because of the fanaticism of those involved, then what should we do to permanently lessen the danger throughout the Infidel world?
And in this respect, see the Benes Decree of 1946. And ask yourself if Benes and Masaryk, and Jaroslav Seifert, and General Ludvik Svoboda, and Aleksandr Dubcek, and Vaclav Havel, and Pavel Kohut, some of whom instituted, and all of whom approved of the removal of the ethnic Germans of the Sudetenland, as a permanent security threat, from within Czechoslovakia, are the people who deserve our criticism, or is it not, rather, those German revanchistes who demand back the Sudetenland, or at least deplore the expulsion of the Sudeten volksdeutsche.
Start thinking about this, and related matters. Start thinking about what you are willing to do to preserve some semblance of peace, tranquillity, decency, safety, within the Lands of the Infidels. Try to be grateful for those in the intelligent past who bequeathed all this to you. Just a little more grateful. -Posted by: Hugh at July 26, 2005 02:45 PM
