Why Americans Need to Make Saul Alinsky the Armature of their Healthcare Argument
...
As I sat watching the news all day, watching disgruntled Americans duke it out with arrogant politicians, it occurred to me something got lost in all of this- the history of Barack Obama and the radical left. I and many others have been studying HR3200, hoping to develop a strong counter-argument against the despotic democrats who are hell-bent on shoving it down our throats. The “right to die”, rationing healthcare, a bureaucrat coming in between you and your doctor; these are just a few of the warranted fears of Americans.
This would be a radical overhaul of our country, it would literally put the government in control of our lives (beyond just the aspect of national defense). They would decide the quality of our lives, no matter how they try to wrap up their “reform” in semantics. I have seen many good-hearted Americans converging in these town halls with the very grim reapers who seek to rob the elderly of access to proper healthcare (that is their modus operandi mark my words). I have seen the SEIU union thugs and AARP trying to snuff out the opposition, even resorting to violence (big surprise there). Person after person grabbing the microphone to have their voice heard, often unable to contain their rage. Watching all this go on, something occurred to me, we need to broaden the scope of our argument, rather than just debating the bill and government spending, we need to include the armature for our debate- the etiology of liberalism (because this is a disease eating away at this country) and why we have radical leftists trying to bring to fruition the long envisioned socialist utopia.I am sure you have all heard of Saul Alinsky, the man Barack Obama idolized in his formative years. Alinksy was the first community organizer in Chicago. In the late 1930s he earned a reputation as a master organizer of the poor when he organized the “Back of the Yards” area in Chicago, an industrial and residential neighborhood. He rubbed elbows with mobsters like Al Capone, and was a dominating force in the union coercion that went on in Chicago. After the infamous Chicago DNC convention in 1968, Alinsky said:
“Do one of three things. One, go find a wailing wall and feel sorry for yourselves. Two, go psycho and start bombing — but this will only swing people to the right. Three, learn a lesson. Go home, organize, build power and at the next convention, you be the delegates.” (emphasis in original)”- Saul Alinsky
He was disappointed in the 68’ convention, he had a more subversive way to bring about the Marxist utopia, “True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within.”This ladies and gentlemen, this man, this period in the late 1960s is where the modern radical liberal agenda began. Chicago was the epicenter, the most notoriously corrupt and coercive political machine in American history. This is the place where Barack Obama decided to cultivate his political career. His childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a known communist steered the young “Barry” on the Alinksy path. From the American thinker: “He went to Chicago, home of Alinsky and the place where Davis had worked for the communist revolution. Obama trained at the Industrial Areas Foundation, an Alinsky training institute. He organized in Chicago and did voter registration and training for ACORN. He went to law school. He built political alliances. He kept a tight lock on his records and his past.”This is why I urge the reader to know why we are faced with such vehement opposition from the democrats and their healthcare bill, Barack Obama is literally their chosen one. The man who would bring the utopias that Lenin and Marx dreamed of- aided by the Alinsky playbook- brute force and deception, and under the guise that it’s for “the greater good”. These are thugs in suits, that have infested our country. Remain vigilant, Obama may employ the tactics of a communist goon, but we shall rest our laurels on the wisdom of our God-fearing, enlightened founders…
“Enlightened statesmen will not always be at the helm. Nor, in many cases, can such an adjustment be made at all without taking into view indirect and remote considerations, which will rarely prevail over the immediate interest which one party may find in disregarding the rights of another or the good of the whole.” James Madison
