Someone better check on this, but my last trip to the island of P.R. I encountered thousands of chinese. Now I don't know if they are legal or not..but is funny that three years ago you could count them with your fingers, but now is different. They have brought also a lot of businesses to the island and is booming as well which is good for the economy. I don't have any bad to say about them, but I am curious if they are legal. or maybe is not of my business, but wait..I am from P.R. so is my business. P.R. is US territory and you don't pay much in residential tax, however you do pay federal income tax just like the US. The chinese are very smart people to have chosen a beautiful island to live and prosper.
Ahh, I wish I was there.. One good thing also is that they help each other, to get busineses and prosper. They are not like us, however in my family we do help each other since we have a big family. So they are OK in my book. However 3,000 people die in a battle called 'El grito de Lares' and those who perished were called 'The macheteros' who fought for what we have today which is us citizenship. Puerto Rican territory belongs to the US since 1800's. There are 4 million or so citizens in the island and if the chinese inmigrant start evolving there to stay. Oh, my God! The island is 100 one way and thousand miles the other. Cuba is 3 times bigger. Like I said Oh, my! God help us!
