Laurie Roth, a west coast talk show host, has alleged connections between Senator Obama (D-IL) and an alleged terrorist sympathizer, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, who has "has direct ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a group on the US State Department's list of known terrorist groups" according to Jim Kouri at Borderfirereport.net.

Khalidi serves on the faculty of Columbia University in New York and is best known as the professor who invited Iranian President Ahmedinejad to visit Columbia University after he finished his speech at the United Nations. According to confidential sources, Khalidi has direct ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a group on the US State Department's list of known terrorist groups.

Senator Obama Awarded Grants to Khalidi's Group and Receieved Campaign Donations From Khalidid, Roth States.
According to Roth, the connection to Khalidi involves The Woods Fund. Senator Obama served on the board of Woods from 2000 to 2002 and was instrumental in allocating a two year $70,000 grant "to the Arab American Action Network, a Chicago-based group founded by Rashid and Mona Khalidi."

During Obama’s last year on the board of The Woods Fund (2002), he participated in awarding grants, including a $70,000, two-year grant to the Arab American Action Network, a Chicago-based group founded by Rashid and Mona Khalidi. Like Ayers and Rezko, Rashid Khalidi also held a fundraising event in his home for Obama. From 1972-83, Khalidi was the director in Beirut of the official Palestinian press agency, FAFA. His wife worked there as well. When the Khalidis left Chicago for Columbia University where Rashid had been given the Edward Said Chair in Arab Studies, their leave-taking party included testimonials from Bill Ayers and Barack Obama.

Roth states that the connections began when Obama joined Allison Davis' law firm (Davis, Miner, Barnhill) in 1993. Davis left the firm in 1999 or 2000 to begin a housing development business and eventually acquired Tony Rezko as a business partner. Tony Rezko had been a client of Davis, Miner, Barnhill. Rezko is currently on trial for corruption related issues in Illinois.

Roth states:
Obama has been identified as one of the politicians cited in the indictment as receiving political contributions from Rezko out of the kickback funds. Tony Rezko hosted fundraising events for Obama in his home and was on Obama’s U.S. Senate campaign finance committee which mobilized $14 million for him. Obama has already returned $85,000 that Rezko and family had personally donated to him.

Senator Obama has already been tied to other terrorists (Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn) and his church has been tied to Hamas. What other ties to terror will we find in Senator Obama's past?
