European union model coming to U.S.
The people in the EU are recognizing daily that they have lost control over their lives.
They are resigned to government controlling them rather than having control over the government.

The elites of Europe centralized control over the people of historically distinct nations. This was accomplished with little verbal and no physical oppositional. The European Union was a political coup de'etat of not one nation but many nations. Each country voluntarily surrendered its sovereignty in piecemeal fashion in the hopes of gaining economic prosperity.
