American Patrol More border chaos
February 18, 2007
According to a report from a resident of Arivaca, Arizona, the National Guard was involved in another border incident Friday evening. According to this report, at about 8 pm Friday evening personnel at a National Guard outpost near Sasabe spotted eleven people cross the border and head north. They were armed with rifles. They proceeded north about one mile and entered heavy brush. The Border Patrol was called and vehicles were sent in to block off the area. Later a Blackhawk helicopter arrived and searched for the group. They were never found.
The entire episode lasted about three hours.
