Keith Ellison Named to Judiciary Committee: No to Iraq war, racial profiling, national security, yes to universal healthcare. Oh joy!

I am going to have to come up with a really good way to show my appreciation to the good folks of Dhimmisota.

Ellison wants withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq

WASHINGTON - Even as President Bush prepares to propose a troop escalation in Iraq, Rep. Keith Ellison says the solution lies in an immediate withdrawal of military forces from the country and focusing instead on political and diplomatic efforts.

"So rather than do something small and ineffective, why not get about the business of what we're going to have to do eventually, which is to begin to end the occupation?" - Ellison
**
If we are allowed to do what it takes to WIN, which I doubt any Dhimmicrats have contemplated, it won't be small and ineffective.
**
"Racial profiling is damaging to our country because we're all one nation," he said. "We should have an equal right to use the highways and byways and the airlines without regard to color, race, religion or anything like that." - Ellison

Earth to Ellison! We do have that. Idiot. We also have some Muslims sneaking around waiting to kill us and others doing everything they can to protect them and to get special privilages for them. And I have the right to a country that will do anything to protect it's citizens... including hurting the overweening egos of Muslims. Go away Ellison. Just go away.

Ellison named to Judiciary Committee
Associated Press
WASHINGTON - Rep. Keith Ellison has been named to the House Judiciary Committee, a panel that has oversight over issues such as civil liberties, immigration and courts.
In a prepared statement, Ellison, D-Minn., called the selection an honor and privilege.
"I look forward to pursuing a progressive agenda in the committee, including the restoration of American citizen's civil liberties that have come under increasing attack over the past six years," said Ellison, the first Muslim member of Congress.
